its pitiful let it go back to wsop at least they did maintenace every so often they have done nothing since taking over the same cards every day same bonus every day its like its stuck on stupid this game how can i deactivate my league from this game. ihis game is pathetic with cheaters and u do nothing about it continue on getting your endorsement mont blah blah blah
I don't think there is anything wrong with the game as it is structurally....but WTF? I read somewhere that cards and winning hands are all "dealt" out by a series of algorithms....those algorithms must be something you need to be on the good side of...I have never seen so many great hands lose to running cards to complete a better hand more than I do here. I've been stuck in round 1 purgatory for God knows how long now...and while I don't proclaim to be a great poker player...I know what the hell I'm doing out there. Getting to round 2 is a miracle in itself only to be CONSTANTLY out-kicked or get dealt pure garbage the majority of the time (If I don't capitalize on one hand, I get ZIP in cards for the rest of the game).
Do I need to be an all-in bingo player to progress here, or is this some obnoxious streak of bad "luck" (?) I'm going through?
*edit* - found my answer on my second question

I swear this freaken game has something against me...UGH!!!!
You just gotta remember the donks who play crap all the time and have a high VOIP lose in the long run. So do the bingo players for that matter. The problem is every so often they will hit. If you play 70%+ of your hands and chase then you will hit a lot. But in the long run, you will get felted. I would just tighten up and play more agressively. The only problem I have with the "algorithm" is the tendency that fresh fish tend to hit but that's all poker sites. It sucks but again my advice would be to tighten up your game and play more aggressively with good hole cards. And when you say cheats, what kind of cheats? Bots? Or chip dumpers?
I haven't run into anything that looks like cheating or chip dumping or anything like that. I already play tight as it is, and when I have a good enough hand (usually top pair w/strong kicker) I always lead out & play aggressive. WAY TOO OFTEN do I see the flop and the next 2 running cards complete someone's completely weak hand and make the better hand. I've never seen anything like this playing on a table with real cards and real people with real money. A - it's idiotic for someone to play like that on a real table for real $. B - on a real table you don't see half the garbage in miracle running cards like I've seen on here.
I know this is just a video game to pass the time, and I certainly don't expect to win every hand (I even congratulate those who play better than me, or have a better hand than I do). I will not congratulate the moronic pre-flop all-inners (resident Bingo Palace players) , or the chasers who call with crap and hit a 3-running card winning hand, and most of all, I don't buy that this is all done by some completly random algorithm otherwise I would not be stuck in round 1 purgatory whenever I play the shootout. I think the reason I don't play the other tables is for the same reason I'm frustrated about what I'm experiencing now. I built up 3.1 million in shootout activity alone...I'd be too afraid of being totally cleaned out by the same "algorithm" playing the higher-stakes tables.
No one can stop the knuckleheads from playing here, but why do they always have to be so god-d**m lucky all the time?
The "algorithm" just decided I should flop a straight only for someone to eliminate me with running turn & river cards to make a higher straight.
I had better begin to love living in round one purgatory. If the gods of the "algorithm" ever decide it's my turn to start winning...I should make a killing out there....just sayin.
That is damn impressive....Obviously cash and tournaments have different concepts. Roughly you could say cash tables are for winning lot quickly and tournaments for playing poker.
However there are situations when all-ins preflop you hate makes sense. And calling too, it`s not all about donkey..I tell 2 examples;if you are dealer and have AA and lot people have payed blinds. With strong pockets you need trips or flush/straight very likely if want to win 6-8 players..But getting it not so good chance, it`s best all in to drop some opponents. Against 2-3 your chances better+u get blinds of those who folded.
And other one which happened to me lately;I had suited connectors. Someone pushed to chips to the middle of table I moved mouse immediately to fold option. But saw 5 people called his/her bet I thought pot value is now so good I think calling is good choise(I was at table with min. buy in, 80k) now...And won with flush. But even if lost I still would have thought it was right thing to click call, I figured out as so many callers people have pockets full of aces, kings etc so with my 56 it`s bit more likely small cards are dealt than high ones.
"I don't buy that this is all done by some completly random algorithm"
I perhaps agree to that, game is maybe fixed little bit to make it more attractive/exciting. On the other hand that`s not 100% certain, in real world most of ultimate winning hads are folded but here fold% is less so it`s determined to see some impossible suckouts now and then.
