Poll to see Playdom address the issue of Authority key Mis-Use

Who would like to see Playdom address the Authority Key issue in more detail then just "We're gonna see about it." or "They Can't do it anymore." 1. YES = They start looking into and giving updates on the issue. , 2. = Who cares,let them do as they please,it doesn't effect us.

You do realize they can't get too in depth as that would give people with the know how more knowledge on how to get in... now on the other hand if they think they have fixed it they have to examine their heads. People are still hacking accounts. Too bad all this crap is just taking them away from fixing the game and improving the game

They could have the "hack" fixed, it wouldn't matter if someone already had the auth keys, only way to kill all those if they already have them is to shut the game down for over 24 hours so they'd run out and couldn't be updated again and would need to get a new one through signing into myspace. Obviously they 1. don't know people are doing this, 2. don't care 3. don't think it's happening.

has it occurred to any one that playdom has several toys laying around in the game that are not attached to a myspace page i could introduce you to a few of them at least i think i remember there id's as easy as 1, 2, 3, i guess they could just make more but still its not like they are unaware of the possibility of playing with out a myspace profile since it appears some of them do

I understand that Dan, Not looking for THAT kind of detail, just detail as 2 We've addressed such & such a problem & it will no longer be subject 2 attack. NOT say WHY it won't,JUST that it was CORRECTED! As the Forums are set up, We can't even address the situation without running a risk of violating TOS. If U read the comments on Mobsters, U see ads. Nuff said. I will also say Lakeshow is addressing this somewhat by his latest update about the KEY. Thank-U lake. All they had to do was open a myspace and keep updating the auth keys from then on. The myspace could've been deleted 5 minutes after it was made. I know what you're talking about but they started with myspace accts I'm sure.

According to Lakes post MySpace updates the auth keys everytime you log out and back in, sounds like a load of crap to me but what do I know right!

Since you need to login to your account to get a new auth token, it is possible that having an auth token for a deactivated account would grant you some sort of access (though I think it would be pretty limited). If you know of a deactivated/deleted/banned account that is still attacking other players in the game, please report them to our Support Team, as well as Myspace’s. We should be able to restrict the account on our side, but Myspace may also be able to further block the user’s access.

If you still have access to your account, but you are worried that someone else is gaining unauthorized access, all you should need to do is change your log in information (both email and password), log out, clear your cache (just in case), and then log back in. This should secure your account by giving you a new log in and a new auth token.

there has been literally thousands upon thousands of those accts, those are the accounts that took the list down a few months ago. It's also what most sites use for selling energy and giving wins/whacks. They refer to them as "virtual" accts. Having us find one and report them is pointless with as many as there are/have been. logging out of myspace does not help remove all active auth keys for others that may have it for an acct. This is one of those times you could be more proactive and fix it before it could be used against some.

If you think it's not real just go buy some wins/whacks/energy from a site. If you'd like to know where I'm sure you can pm any of us and get referred to one.

that really is not going to work, listen to the people, they are saying close the game down for 25 hours for a reason.
