Fighting over Level 200

I wish they'd do something about this before I reach 200. While I get the purpose of having boarders, I will NEVER be able to compete with those at and above level 200, because I simply can't afford to buy them.

I shouldn't have to call it quits on a game I've played for awhile (I actually don't know how long its been) on level 199 because I don't want to get my butt handed to me by the higher level 200's who not only have way more SP's than I would, but boarders as well.

IMO, there is not nearly enough FREE boarders to go around, and with this kinda change, PD WILL lose long term players because of it.

Eh, i cant be bothered enough to load up my minis with energy points to do the events. *shrug* But thanks for that. (I already know about that guide.)

That's what I do. I had 3 characters I had stopped using trying to do the Level 20 in a day to get the achievement (and failed) When the SA's started I realized even though those characters are weak I can use them in the SA's to get boarders and on regular campus. I have fun trying to see how many boarders I can get.

YEP! Just realized that a couple girls didn't do the JazzFest event under Vacation Tab and the Picnic event under the Off Campus tab, so got a few more boarders.
AND the new Road Trip event gives a boarder so that is EIGHT more boarders for me!

Well you can get far if you gather milk teas and espressos daily. I have about 580 boarders all from SAs and the regular game. I know you know about the guide, but there are some boarders you can get for each mini that don't require as much energy as others. But for me, I am totally glammed up with in-house glam and I have no chance against those level 200s (despite being at max house size) since so many have a ton of LE glam that I can't compete against. There are some sisters levels 220+ with 300 less house members than me and I can never beat them because of skill points. I know you can't be bothered, but you expect SL to give them to you for free with no work on your part? I think it is pretty nice that they even give us mini's to help us get more boarders.

I am so very tired of being pummeled by players 40 levels above me. Yes, the goals were moved and had I known about this change, I would never have let my main become level 200! She is a defensive character with 465 pop but is basically cannon fodder to the level 220 - 240 that delight in shooting me down any time I am online. I am a VIP player - well that's ending. There is NO way I can obtain enough boarders to compete against these steam rollers without investing a huge amount of cash I don't have. I had decent stats... well, that main character certainly doesn't now. I feel like I've wasted three years of playing and developing this character!

As for doing philanthropy, don't get me started. That is so hard to do now with these big house, high level bullies that it's ridiculous. No, no more VIP, no more money period. Changing the goals this far in make it no fun. It's a game and now it's a game that is far more annoying than anything. I have better things to do with my time and money than watch my character get pummeled every single time she is online and watch her stats go into the toilet.
