Hi Callie. I hope you can find my url to play Gnome town with me. Or maybe you don't play that? I've been playing for a month or so & had something bad happen that Gnome Town mgmt made good. My machetes disappeared that I'd earned by slaving at a forge for 48 hrs & buying metal pieces. the metal pieces weren't in my inventory anymore & the forge wanted another 48 hrs. I reported it & 3 days later they sent over complimentary machetes (3). The forge still says 48 hrs but that's minor. You aren't TOO much younger than I am, I imagine. Bet your work for Berlitz is interesting. Hubby & I live in Las Vegas, sort of against our will. I'm 64 until a bit over a week from now. He's 65. We work for my parents who married in WWII. Pretty healthy people; my 5 days a week there is easy on me. Take care... Warmly, Jean

Hey Stinky... great idea!!! Although Im going to start with a request.. tell us about YOU ;-)
My name is Chris ... Born and raised in Detroit Michigan back when it was a wonderful place to grow up, we are now in a small rural farming community still in Michigan called Tecumseh. I am mom to 9 wonderful children, ages 16-36 and yes they are all from my husband of 38 fun filled years. We now have 9 grandchildren from 5 that are married. 1 living on her own now, and 3 still at home.
I started playing after my daughter told me about it knowing how much I love hidden object games, when the kids were little we subscribed to a magazine for the kids full of them and they used to get upset with me if I did any of the pages, it was SO hard not to lol .. anyway I jumped in mid way I guess from when the game began and am now caught up and on level 59 or is it 60? not sure but right in there somewhere. That ought to tell you I play a LOT ;-)
I have a home sewing business so I play in-between all the businessy stuff.
still would like to know more about you!
Not sure if this is the place to ask you but our 'featured' Dev said we could pass questions on through you here are mine.
1. Why don't they have a confirm for using our gold?
2. Is there any possibility of having a second garden? Is it up for consideration? If not then I want to quit thinking about it LOL!!!

Hi Stinky - this thread is a great idea! I've always been curious about some of my fellow posters here, as well as the devs. How nice of Vernon to agree to an interview!
My name is Ellen. I am a retired grandma of 3, and I live in central Illinois. My husband and I are transplanted here from Nebraska, where we both lived all our lives. We moved here 2 years ago to be near our daughter, as her husband was sent here for his job. She is our only child and we wanted to stay close to her and the grandkids. Since moving here, we spend a lot more time at home than we used to - we don't know many people here. I had never used Facebook before we moved, but now that we're several hundred miles from most of our extended family, I've learned what a great way it is to keep in touch with people. What with all the status updates, I probably know more about my relatives now than I did when we lived closer. LOL
I don't remember how I found GoT, but it was the beautiful artwork that got me hooked, and once I got into playing, I loved the touches of humor that are found throughout the game. I never dreamed I'd get so addicted, but the combination of lovely artwork, puzzles and interaction with other players is just irresistible to me. I've become acquainted with some of my GoT neighbors, and I wish they were my real life neighbors, as well!

Nice to learn more about our on-line pals!
As long as you are already in the OT forum, be sure and check out the other games we have going here!

:::waving Hi to everyone!::: ::: passing around tray of fresh, warm brownies:::
This was a wonderful idea Stinky, thanks for setting it up! Have to echo several of the other comments - loved the interview with Vernon and look forward to the next one and learning more about Stinky
. The graphics have gotten even better the past few chapters - really nice! I love the game, despite the occasional...er... 'growing pains' and really look forward to seeing what new things the devs come up with (I have a whole long list of suggestions/requests over in another thread
).
I started playing this summer thanks to a friend of mine who sent me a neighbor request and quickly became addicted! Have always loved puzzles of any kind so this fit right in (sorry, but I don't really care at all about the storyline). I unfortunately still work 8-5, which interferes with my game playing during the week lol. My name is Jo Ann and besides playing GoT, I love to read, do genealogy and collect sea shells. I have one cat and my grown son and my mom live with me also. Mom is 95 and unfortunately slipping away an inch at a time because of dementia - not a fun thing. I also have a beautiful, smart, loving 13 yr old granddaughter who unfortunately lives a couple hours away so I don't get to see her as often as I would like.
It's really nice to meet everyone!
:::milk is on the counter to go with the brownies... wine and margaritas are in the corner by the fireplace:::

Hi, Stinky and everybody! Really great idea, as long as Stinky reveals a bit about him/her(???)self.
My name is Ksenija, but my friends call me Sam or Sammy. I like it, it makes life a lot easier with this messed up name.
Born and raised in Croatia, live in Washington, DC for the past 25 years. After divorce (no kids), I decided to live on my own. For the past 10 years I live with my tuxedo cat Oliver Lily. I used to teach languages in schools all over Washington metropolitan area, but 10 years ago I became disabled and had to find work from home. I was fortunate to get into over-the-phone interpreting, mainly medical, in 3 languages. I make my own hours and that gives me time to play when and how much I want.
I am an avid GOT player, just got to level 90, but could go a lot higher.I got hooked the second I accidentally discovered it in early May and have been playing every day since. My addiction just keeps growing with every new chapter and recent decision to give us a chapter every week makes me ecstatically happy. I spend a lot on toys and so far I have not regretted it. We have a forum on FB, where I met friends I visit with now, great gals.
For 5 months I played on my crappy old PC and struggled through constant freezes, crushes, glitches - it was a nightmare. My new friends convinced me to scrape up my savings and invest it in new Mac Pro, which I've been using for the past 2 days. OMG, you would now believe it, guys: THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS GAME, it plays flawlessly. Now I can really get my speed up and enjoy gorgeous graphics and animation. I just adore this game, can't get enough of it, lol. Nice to meet ya'll!

Helloooo, my name is Shelly, I only started playing GOT about a week ago, still trying to get the hang of it but I'll figure it out eventually, it is quite addictive isn't it.
I live in the UK, I work as an accounts administrator (unfortunately) but only for 16 hours a week (phew, long enough for anyone). My main hobby is Woodturning, I make all kinds of things and try to sell my wares at craft fairs and on my website. I have a great passion for animals and nature and spend many hours walking and and looking for wildlife.
I am not married, no kids, no ties, life is good.
I have a brother and sister that both live in Australia (Perth & Sydney, they couldn't be much further apart) and visit them as often as I can.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
Shelly

Hey ya'll,
I'm having a great time reading all your introductions
It makes me happy. Knowing that Gardens of Time has brought you guys from all over the places to here makes me happy too! Nice you meet you Chris, Sheila, Ellen, Jo Ann, Sammy, and Shelly!!
Ok. A little about me! You can put my life in one sentence "I have been moving around!" I was born in Baltimore, Maryland but was raised in Taipei, Taiwan. I went to Vancouver, BC for a year for high school and Lansing, MI for the rest of High School. I didn't have friends nor families in Michigan, so I didn't like it there. I decided to come to California for college. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, worked for Abbott Labs for a little bit, went to Japan for half a year, moved back to Taiwan for a year, lived in DC for 2 months, the moved back to the bay area in California in 2008.
After I moved back, I went back to work for Abbott for a year, then this opportunity came, although it is not related what I had studied in college, I decided to give it a try. And I've been here for about a year and a half, meeting many wonderful people, and learning new things. I like you guys and this community a lot a lot!
And Sammy, Macbook is a good choice
It is easy to use once you're used to it. You can always bring in to the store if you have any issues and questions. And it doesn't have viruses.
PS. Stinky likes our moderator, Angie, a lot. She's the bestEST!

HUH??? Are you saying that we have been calling you "HE" or "HIM" and it should be "SHE" or "HER"??? I am even more confused than usual and Stinky is hurting Callie's head, so she or he is off to take some ADVIL for it! LOL!
