    Default Playdom Can Learn A Thing or Two

    Playdom can really stand to learn a thing or two from its competitors. Another game I play was experiencing technical difficulties for LESS THAN ONE DAY and they gave us 25 of their in game "Favor Points" for FREE. The players did not have to like a post a million times or do any silly thing they just did it for us because they know they screwed up and wanted to apologize for it.

    What do we get from Playdom when they are experiencing "technical difficulties" and countless screw ups for several months? 3 crappy guns, a lame ass excuse for a "customer (appreciation)" week, a new forum representative that only uses universal responses, and the distinct feeling that the inevitable end is near. Hell, atleast buy us breakfast after you are done screwing us.


    EDIT: OR better yet, sell the game rights for m2 to one of your competitors, at least they will do it justice and make it fun again.

    I do agree that the canned responses from the community manager have been less than impressive and it appears he is merely a go-between for the players and the game team, but a little feedback would be appreciated.
    I can be sweet as pie or a real honey badger if tested!

    I'll save lakeshow the trouble....

    We are currently in the process of making some changes to our current payment and billing system. It may be a few weeks before players will be able to sign up again for the VIP subscription.

    copied and pasted from his announcement post, that's exactly what he would have done anyways.

    Dont forget the Serb war Dossiers that were given as a lame apology......that most cannot use.....lol


    **** I will add though, that the screw ups in the game are not the responsibility of the moderators of the forum, this dubious honor goes to the programmers. And they can only give info that Playdom feeds them (even if it is BS). "TheLakeShow" has been thrown head first into a situation that he doesn't really know, and unless he is playing the game, "As A Player and not a Bot" then he cannot begin to know the full intricacies of the screw ups that we have all had to deal with for quite some time now. So give him his due, he is at least trying to help by giving info where he can.

    Many things in the game could have been rectified a long time ago...IF....they (being PlayDisney) had listened to the players. They have done nothing to rectify the Player bots, the cheating with breaking into Non-Posted wars, the recruit page and all revelant buttons that also go towards recruiting and the lags and poor performance of the game, that once used to be so good, people had no issue in claiming they were addicted to the game. But Playdisney were more concerned about finding new ways to get people to spend money on the game, than to repair it.

    We as players have to bare some responsibility too......many keep rating a shoddy product such as the game (the way it is now) with a 5 star rating, and many (including myself) still purchase items (although my spending has been drastically cut and will be again soon if things dont improve). If the rating remained consistant at a 1 then Playdisney might actually start paying attention and doing something about it. But if everyone keeps rating it a 5 then Playdisney will assume that the majority are happy with the game in its present state and do exactly what they are doing now....absolutly Jack!!

    well good to see playdumb isnt just blanking up Mobsters seems every single app they have is going down the old ceramic throne....
