How to add a quick link in forum code

To start go to your Facebook newsfeed page, then click on your name. Now look up in the address bar. That is the URL for your add page. We will use that URL to make your quick add.
You now have to make that URL in to a link. To make it click able in forums that use BB code.

In the message box type the text you wish to use as the link. I will use "Add me " as an example.
Next, highlight your text.

Now, click the button that looks like a Globe with two links of chain.

Paste your Facebook URL in that box and click "Ok". You will have to scroll sideways to see the whole thing, but that is a BB code link.

It looks like this.
[URL="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=#########"]Add me[/URL]

That is the finished link code and will show up like this. Add me

You can use that in your posts or in your signature. Next I will show how to make a picture link.

Now to make a click able picture link using BBcode.

We will first start with the code for a picture. Click the button that looks like a mountain range.
Then paste your pictures URL in the box and Click "Ok". I will use the Facebook picture as an example.

The URL is http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/rsrc.php/...1UHnc4A50t.png

What you have now will just post a regular picture. You have to now make it a link.

You make it into a click able picture link by treating the picture code as if it were the "Add me" text in the above section. The finished code will look like this

[URL="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=#########"][IMG]http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/rsrc.php/z6/r/01UHnc4A50t.png[/IMG][/URL]

When you submit your post it will be a click able picture link. Just hit preview to test it out.
