Frustration with machetes

I currently have 38 quests to work out and all of them require machetes, spoons, shovels, hoes, or something to search the outer realm with. 2 of my forges cost 20 metal and take 24-48 hrs to produce 1 tool. The other forges only cost 10 metal and take 24 hours for 1 tool. I play on facebook, and I read in the new players guide something about getting machetes each time you level up but this does not happen on FB. Also, the gifts don't change much from day to day. I like the game but it is too cluttered and I may quit to play something somewhere else. Help!

"use machetes wisely" there are no clues as to which way to find anything.
I have over 15 quests, probably closer to 20 that want me to find something in the forest. I just used 5 machetes and found NOTHING but some debris. 5 machetes and I didn't clear a single one of the "FIND THIS" stuff. Not even the quest that says "use a machete." THAT'S RIDICULOUS.

I have tried to play the game, but, without more machetes, or more finds per machete, there is no reason to continue. I have played for over 5 weeks and all I do is accumulate FIND THIS quests, but I don't find anything but once every 10 machetes or so and I have gone long periods of time without getting a singe machete. It's cute, but, BORING to just come in, clear debris, do 5 challenges, do 6 find objects, then THERE IS NOTHING TO DO BUT PICK FRUIT. AAARRRGGGHHHHHHH

AND FORGET ABOUT ASKING A QUESTION TO SUPPORT. THERE'S NO WAY TO DO IT PLAYDOM.

some great "Playdumb Comedy Manager" the forge requires a ridiculous amount of metal scraps, not food. I have tons of silver, wood, and food and over 20 quests in my queue, but NO MACHETES.

Good but not new suggestion.

You can complete offers for gold in the Gold tab, or keep harvesting crops and bushes for food to use on the machete forge. Good luck!

That was so nice to see that playdom's new game: (Botkins Hidden Cove) gives players the ability to buy 5 machetes with 7 gold bars. still they can buy double (10 machetes for 14 gold bars). in Gnome Town only the double is available

now why don't you add this option to gnome town? that would be a no cost fantastic improvement

I think you have to give us more machetes or it is impossible to keep playing the game.I am out of them and all the quest tell me to use machetes.Or you need to give us more gold bars.The game is cute and I like to play it but I am stuck now.The price of the Machetes should be lowered too.

Or at least give us one machete for each gold bar, so for 15 gold bars we should at least get 15 machetes, or pick axes, or evaporators, etc. instead of just 10.

Good suggestion but each game is different, not all Playdom games have the same gold sales and offers.

I like the way Ghosts of Mistwood does it best of the 3.

Being bossy & demanding is not a good way to get what you want; you catch more gnats with honey than vinegar. Remember when people used to say "please?" Most casual game players are women in their 40s (a little something proved at the Bigfish Convention) but in forums it's like 13 year old boys. I've seen some rude other communities. For instance, many gamers will blame the developers for bugs that are actually Facebook, Java, Shockwave, or Flash code bugs.

Mr Manager: This suggestion is irrelevant to offers or even prices. it's just the ability to add "mini packages" of machete for buying. same price, same progress. i just think that you should extend the options to "3, 5 and 10 machetes" if possible.

eventually, offers affect how much gold you can get... not how you choose to spend them

I am in the same boat as you. I probably have 20+ quest to complete......but with no luck.... I have tried doing surveys to earn gold.... but I keep getting told that there is nothing that matches me. I really like this game but it isn't fun if you can't get anything accomplished.

I think the game would be more enjoyable if you either gave us 10 machetes when we forge 20 pieces of silver for 48 hours OR lower the amount of food needed to speed up the process. Right now, it costs me almost 7,000 food to get ONE machete. That seems a bit much since in Botkin's Hidden Cove, the forge only takes 24 hours and it is only 960 food to speed up the process. Right now I have half a dozen or more unfinished buildings sitting it GT because I cannot afford to continually spend real money on the game. Or even make it like Ghosts of Mistwood where you can gather different objects to make more machetes. Something, please. This is getting very old, very quick.
