A Strange Way To Get Expired, Steal-able Sweethearts You Don't Own

Before I begin, I have to make it clear that I DID NOT resort to any illegitimate means to play SL. --No bots, no SLH or other third party apps used.

I've never noticed this, until recently. That you can actually "collect" expired sweethearts that you do not previously own, provided that he is steal-able.

(Start of story)

Since I'd only began playing at the end of Beijing, there is NO WAY I could actually go to Rio and by any means, obtain any Rio glams which had long been expired.

However, when I stole Tiago the Trumpet Player, a Rio boyfriend, from my sister and kept him till he left for grad school, I automatically have him in my inventory.

Strangely, I thought steal-able sweethearts would be gone forever after they've left, though this one mysteriously go into my possession.

NO, I did NOT own any Tiagos or Rio glams prior to this.
NO, I did NOT collect any Tiagos from weebly/somewhere else.
NO, I did NOT use any third party apps to "help" me in SL.

Addition info: He's maxed out when I had and kept him.

Now, is that another glitch? Or perhaps some unknown feature?

When they leave you for grad school they go back into your inventory at the regular stats they had

I thought it only applies to the LE/unstealable boyfriends?

No... it's not a glitch, that's how it's done. Once you steal a sister's SH he becomes yours. If you pamper him and keep him until he leaves for grad school... he ends up in your inventory as your glam SH. This also applies to SH's that are not maxed out.

Yep. The only time I stole a boyfriend from a sister was because it was Gene Kelly and I just love love love him and his dancing so I had to have him. I kept him until he left and abra-cadabra he was in my inventory. However I did not know when I stole him that I'd get to keep him. It was an amazing and very welcome surprise!
