Happy Wednesday, Sisters!

I'm getting an early start today because I will be out for most of the afternoon, during my normal time here. However, I will come back this evening to check back in!

So, lots of new stuff to discuss! First off, many of you have noticed some of the updates to the oldest purchasable glam that were just released yesterday. There are 9 total glam items that have been updated, and the team hopes you'll enjoy! I won't spoil the fun in finding them, but definitely see if you can spot them, and let me know what you think!

Second, Rick's Cafe was added, and I must say I love how it played up the movie, too! The glam is definitely is a classic look that I love having in my inventory.

Also, I was excited to see the Fashion Show Angels Gala! I have all but one of the items, and like the hairstyles and Peacock Angel Costume the most. I was happy to see most of you were happy with it, too.

Hi Whitney,

Now that updates to the oldest purchasable glam has started, can we expect the oldest LE glam to receive similar updates as well? While I wouldn't want the original design to be completely erased, some of the old LE glam could use some work, especially compared to the newer LE glam.

I like that the old glams got an update. Especially, I'm so glad about the old formals getting a new updated look. I just wish the Strapless Red Evening Gown would have also been updated since its green and pink versions are already updated.

I love the Fashion Show Angels Gala, the items look definitely great.

By the way, the bonus drop rates in Casablanca crafting is very low:/ I almost receive no bonuses. The only crafting which gave me 2 bonuses is the Wowen Wood. Other than, I didn't receive any other bonuses from other craftings :/

I love the new 12 BP gala. Everything is so stunning and sexy. I'm trying to earn more BPs so I can spin again. I hope to get the pink outfit.

I was wondering if the white rings in Casablanca will be getting a better drop rate? I used 250 tickets and only got 2. :'( There are so many craft items that need multiple brass rings.

I wanted to add that I LOVE the new Pink wedges in the crafting! I am so happy they are not a bonus.

i know you were saying that after this SA playdom will be focusing on some on-campus stuff instead of just pumping out another SA immediately.. well i was wondering if we can get a new job for the high levels..? i havent seen a new job for about 80 levels :/ and there's not much incentive to keep leveling since there's nothing up there but "bragging rights". plus its soooo expensive to heal that some of us high level players have sold off all our glam to make a few extra bucks because our hourly income is enough for about 5 or 6 clicks on the heal button :/ some new high level events would be nice too, like ones that dont require a ton of energy to do because at that level you're either all pop or all charm w/ very little skill points placed in energy.. please consider at least giving us a new job or 2 that pays a lot more than the U.S. Senator job because its 1 million exp to level up once you hit lvl 241..

I was wondering about the Vintage Boutique. You know that this month, they released in the VB some glam that had never been released before. Was that a mistake or are they planning to include unreleased glam there too?

Hi ~Whitney~! It seems that drop rates for necessary crafting items have decreased? When Casablanca began, pretty much every click made when socializing yielded a crafting item...they seemed to be distributed evenly too. Now, it's the hardest thing in the world to get Dye in Rabat and useless to try to get Looms; and Brass rings are still dropping rarer than Big Foot sightings on Mars (I used 260 tickets and got 0 brass rings the other day...I almost cried).
I also agree with Silabella on the drop rates for bonuses....it's feels futile to craft items so many times when the crafting items themselves are becoming scarcer by the day, and then have no bonus anything to make you feel less frustrated about spending all your tickets on completed events just to get two of the one crafting item you need. It is very frustrating.

On a smiley note, I really like that old glam is getting a fresh look! They feel new! And nothing makes a girl feel prettier than a new dress

I noticed they updated the Thanksgiving costume. The costume itself does have more definition, but the boots have disappeared. They don't show up on the avi. Could you please pass this along to the design team so they can fix it?

I too love Rick's Cafe! The glam is unlike anything we currently have in our closet except for the shoes. They look very similar to the free 5 day ones we got (cream colored wedges), but that's my only tiny complaint.

And I adore the new Angel's collection. I have everything except for the shoes and the two costumes. The brown goddess hair is my favorite!

EDIT: The Mardi Gras costume = big improvement! The Deco Formal is much improved too though not exactly sexy.

I personally do not like the redesign better for the green/pink formals. Though I do like the V-Day, Thanksgiving, and Mardi Gras costume redesigns very much.

Love, love, love the Victoria Secret gala, I am only missing the peacock outfit which I really, really want...

And I have to say that Casablanca drop rate is very, very frustrating. I have made at least 14 gliders, 5 purses (can't get brass rings to make more), 2 belly dancing outfits (again can't get brass rings to make more), and 2 pink wedges and have yet received none of the bonuses. Yes, I have received "bonuses" (if you can call them that) of the woven wood, gold rings, and patterned silk... But really?!?!?!?! I am supposed to be happy with that? At this point in Beijing I had at least one glam bonus. I spent at least two days worth of tickets to only get two brass rings... I am feeling very frustrated and very close to giving up entirely...

EDIT: Correction, I was making my 14th glider when I posted. The 14th one finally dropped the balloon! However, since I am unable to get brass rings...

Shinkay - No plans for more updates at the moment, but good to know that it's been well received, so hopefully there will be!

Silabella and all - Thanks for letting me know, I will pass that along to the team...is this the first time you noticed the bonuses weren't dropping as frequently as before?

MM - That was a mistake since the item was exclusive to a special event.
