SL Not Loading

I'm having the same problem. It kept happening last night too. I couldn't collect gifts or get the wall bonuses. It's very frustrating. I don't know if it's FB or Playdom,
but it better get fixed soon.

I'm getting the same error. If you play on Facebook this problem could be from the fact that FB is in the process of making a pretty big change with adding Skype and I think I also heard the overall page layout was changing too. I'm sure they're gonna try to keep things running as smoothly as possible but no doubt it will affect game play. Kind of a bummer that it's around the same time a new Study Abroad rolled out but I'm sure the game will be back up and running.

I'm getting a brown screen. Nothing else will load. I've tried refreshing. I've also asked friends if their game is working and they said "yes," so idk what's up. For now, I'm stuck playing on my itouch, but that doesnt help in SA at all, you know. What should I do about getting a brown screen?

Sometimes I get a screen like: "SL is in the maintenance. Play another game"

Since midnight on 7/12/11 CDST SL won't load through Facebook with either Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. First it was only the Philanthropy page earlier, but now it's the whole game. I just paid BP's for more tickets (and wouldn't have if I couldn't have used them right away!
