Glam you most regret spending BPs on

I use to consider myself a total glam wh*re and looking back at some of the glam I spent BPs on... I can't help but wonder what I was thinking! Have you been there? Post some of your worst glam here and let's compare.

I'm starting off posting my clothing that I regret using BPs on. These are outfits I never wear because they either do not look right on the avi (ex. her boobs look lop-sided, etc.) or I do not have any accessories to match them at all! I will post accessories a little later.

I don't have many LE glams to begin with, being somehow a newbie still, but well:


This red dress. It was an "OMG-so-pretty" instant buy for me at that time, but now I think I can do without it, since everytime I *try* to wear it, I don't keep it on for very long. (& I don't really like red.)


Perhaps this too? It's my first LE buy and I was like "I have enough BPs, so I must buy a LE glam". Well, it looks nice, but not very nice.


I won't consider this a regret, since I find this dress pretty and I do like it, just that I don't really know what accessories to go with it at the moment.

OH MY GOD! THE ANGELINA JOLIE HAIR! i said finally its in the VB. but then we got better hair and now the hair just sits there and collects dust

This hair:

I was always bothered by how crooked the bangs are, but I talked myself into it because the color was totally unique at the time it was released. However, it wasn't very long after that when the Rock gala was posted and I spun & got this hair:

which is a nearly-identical color story but I like the style of the rock gala hair soooooo much better that I haven't had my avi wear the vamp hair a single time since winning the bob.

Other than that, my LE regrets are nearly always the other way - things I talk myself out of buying and then every time I see someone else wearing them I think, "Dang! (Disney-fied...heh) That's really cute, I should've gotten that after all!" The only LE glam I own that I don't particularly care for (other than the hair above) are things I've won from cookies, not anything else I've purchased. Edited to add: Also I don't care for a few things I've gotten from galas, but I consider that a bit different from regretting something I deliberately choose to buy, as the galas are always a gamble - unless you luck into a very rare one where you like every single item, you're always taking a a chance you'll get something you don't like in the hope that you'll get the stuff you love.

I honestly don't have a lot of regret outfits, I wear and love most of the LE outfits I have bought.

This I just don't wear, I don't wear many formals but I did love the colour and design of this one, I just never wear it

and hair:
there are a couple I really don't like much.

Loved how long this one was but it seems to be too much in the front, it covers neckwear and the front of outfits too much



This one I loved, the length, the colour, but bought on a mini by accident. I was so pissed off that PD wouldn't move it to my main for me I just went ahead and bought it on my main too (never doing that again!) and now, like the black one, I don't really wear it because there is too much hair in the front.

I thought it was cute when I saw it on the home page so I went and bought it and regretted it instantly. And then I won 3 in a 2 BP gala.

I loved it at the time, but since then prettier black hair has come out. And I don't like how it covers the chest.

I loved it at first, but then I began to regret it because it's just not me. Too formal.

Another impulse buy. But I love the color. :/

Yet ANOTHER impulse hair buy. UGH.

I think it's really cute, but I just don't wear it enough.

I was so excited for red hair so I bought this on impulse. Later, I began to notice that the bow and color doesn't go with ANYTHING.

Same with the Long Dark Hair. There weren't a lot of pretty black hairstyles when this came out so I jumped on it.

I like the color and the style is pretty, but I jsut have a lot of better hair.

^^ So you can see why I have been trying not to buy a lot of hair because I end up regretting a lot.

Vintage boutique impulse. I never wear them because I prefer wearing heels.

Sooooo tacky.

I thought I would regret not getting it, but I think it's tacky.

I think it's really cute, but I don't have a lot of shoes to go with it.

I think it's realy pretty, but I think the hem should be shorter to be more flattering.

I think the real life version is gorgeous, but the SL one was a totally impulse buy.

Part of me loves it, but I never wear it.


I regret all of these because I was so convinced that the final outfit for the Christmas thing would be amazing. I was sorely disappointed.

I regretted it instantaneously...unfortunately. I love pirates, I dunno, maybe I'd prefer something a little more contemporary? I find that I'll probably never wear it >: I also find, I don't like required hats, I'd rather it be optional.

Definitely this hair. It was my first BP purchase and it was one of the first glams that actually looked kind of fresh and exciting. So I bought it. And never wore it. And probably won't ever wear it. It looks hideous on the avi and there is too much visible pixel business going on. And that headband is a colour I can't match anything with!

- I love it but I never wear it.
- I loved this till the update when you could see the white spaces.
- Was one of my first hair buys I thought it was coolest thing ever but I hate the wind blown look.
- Impulse buy big time. I hate the outline and headband.
- I didn't have the LC pony at the time so I bought this.
- Something about this just bothers me.
- Their had been so much hype about this hair that I thought because everyone loved it I should too.
- I still love cause it's Nina's hair but I just don't like how it's so blown looking.
- I wish I could remove the hat!
- It's starting to look to yellowish.
- Spun a stupid amount to get these and hate em!
- I still love these to death but since the update on the top of one boot it's a different weridish color.
- I kinda regret how baggy it is.
- I thought I needed this outfit but no I didn't.
- I regret this because I never wear it but on St. Pattys Day.
