so I wanted to say that this hair was drawn from a rl reference photo. It can be found in the old who did it thread on the other forum along with the rl photo of the outfit that I (and several others) drew it with originally. That being said, I've always wanted to turn that top into a dress. Here's the result...

Btw, I think the person mentioning the Playdom version of the short hair meant that their version is very oddly similar-looking. It just looks like they took your version and used it in the game. Jmho.

Thanks arwenile. you always give great comments....and that's definately possibly what she meant. I don't think they did though....there are differences that make it looked like they drew it.

The dress is really great. I love the way you made the folds. The belt and the lace part look awsome.
And I'm a huge fan of the hairstyle

1. I am not such fan of that dress ,but you did it well. I see some flat parts tho. Hair is cute. And I noticed that you didn't put hand layer on proper place.
2. I love print on dress. I would make dress blue or green tho. Belt looks kind of flat ,and I would shade it more. Hair is pretty. Reminds me of ultra long locks hair ,only better. Shoes for some reason look kind of unnatural to me (left shoe). I love how heel looks tho.
3. Dress look natural. It look shiny and smooth. Earrings aren't my style ,so I can't really say that I like them. Hair looks good ,and more defined than one we have in game. Shoes are really pretty. Bracelet and necklace are nice touch.
4. This is best done dress from recent ones. I would give some shading on lacy part ,but that maybe would make it look too realistic for avi. I adore hair! I would change shoes tho. I think that shoes you made for goth doll for Aesthetic dolls would look better with this design.

Well, if they did, I guess we'll all have to make our watermarks more pronounced or stop posting our designs all together.

I wrote "the person" as I didn't remember who posted that remark, didn't feel like checking it as I was tired when I was replying and didn't want to sound like I was ignoring that someone had already mentioned it.

I checked the two versions now though and there are differences between them:

The Playdom version has a more narrow top of the hairdo, the fringe covers the avi's right eye a bit more, is wider (starts closer to the avi's left temple) and sits lower (there's less space between the fringe and the avi's left eyebrow). The left part of the hairdo has shorter and less hair. The right part is missing the one long strand Jolie has in her version. A few hair strands are placed differently as well. The whole hairdo has a different hue, it's more reddish and has deeper shadows.

However, it's still too close to Jolie's version, and if they used a slightly edited version of her interpretation without letting her know, it'd be pretty rude of them.
