Thank you guys for all the feedback So next time I need to shade patterns more and define the hair and Jme, she is. It's um a sign of freedom?
    ...

It's either a bad week or I've just lost any skill that I had with designing.

10 points for anyone who can recognise this.
Any feedback welcome (especially tips for shading shiny black PVC material and making hair look more natural.)

Or she has danced all night with all the guys and her feet are sore and she took off her shoes to ease the pain.

    Great job on the latest.

So when you recolor can you chose the color you want it to be? Or can you only chose what it offers? I'm tired of redoing things (ie alien walker skirt) just because I can't figure it out. (Not an easy skirt to redo.)

That sounds much more creative, I'll go with that and thanks.
You can edit the colour by sliding the bars around so it becomes any colour you want. I'm not sure what it's called on Gimp but it's called replace colour on PS. There's also a similar thing called selective colour.

We have one similar to selective color. Thank you. So it's only the colors offered and not the specific color you want it to be randomly. (Had tried to make royal lilac for instance.)

Well with replace colour you just use the eye droplet thing to select any colour you want but with selective colour, you choose one of the colours offered (but every colour links to one of them) and you can make it into more or less any colour you want. I hope that makes sense.

I stink with leathery thingies so I can't help with that, but with the hair, I think maybe use another shade that's lighter and another shad that's darker and add more lines in? It looks a little flat (which you recognized). Also, you've done this on other designs (I think), but another highlight around the crown always helps hair look better. Also around the neck, the hair is going to be darker because of other hair or the avvies neck blocking light, so make it darker there.

As for the PVC (latex) - the highlights should be a brighter white, without any bigger smudging, as the latex highlights tend to be very sharp. You should also use lighter grey-blue around the white areas to make it look as if there's a gradient. You need more creases and wrinkles because latex tends to wrinkle a lot and each wrinkle would have a very bright highlight somewhere.

I hope this helped a little.

Oh okay, thanks Farri, I'll do that with the hair next time.

Thank you Arweniel, it helped a lot I probably won't be drawing any PVC stuff any time soon but when/if I do, I'll definitely come back to your post for help.
    ...

I started off using Farri's shading black tutorial and then I just went down from there.
    Any feedback/constructive criticism is appreciated

*creeps in* *claps that you used tutorial* Although, I think you may have used too much black for shading, or at least the center looks a teeny bit too dark. Could me my eyes and this dumb homework too. I like the apple, it reminds me of G-Dragon. The shorts are super cute, and I really like the hair! I also like the make up you did
