Here's our current GoT cast of characters, as near as I can tell. It's an update of a previous submission.

    There's Lord Chauncey McNichols, Enrique, and Pierre encircled;
then our regular lineup of Alistair Wells, Quincy Bolthouse, Eleanor Lansing Purlieu, Megan Kher, Lulu Milton, and Richard Wakefield.

I'm still going with the mannikin as my favorite character. LOL. Especially since it also shows up in B&B.

Don't you find his acting a bit wooden though? o.O

I liked Geoffrey and Enrique, (and I'm worried about what seems to be brewing for Enrique... hopefully it's too obvious about his involvement in the latest troubles) but of those that we can vote on I can't decide between Quincy and Elenor.

Hate me if you will but... I don't like Megan like a lot of people do. She comes across as rather selfish and though appearing to she don't seem to actually consider Quincy. Yes, she wants him but always complains about how he is. She knew his personality when she chased him so complaining about him just seems wrong. Besides, if you want to change someone, then you really don't love them for who they are. You just love the idea of what you want them to be like.

I am sorely disappointed in Gardens of Time. The storyline, my absolute favorite feature, has become progressively worse. I was rooting for Eleanor, my favorite character, to get together with Quincy. It didn't work out, but oh well. But instead Quincy falls for the nasty, drunkard, spiteful, lazy, selfish, backstabbing Megan, (why?), who was already infatuated with him so she has him around her little finger. Then, Eleanor keeps going back to that cad Richard, with the writers making us wonder if it ever will work out between them. Eleanor is my favorite character because she is the kindest and most mature female character, (never snapping at others unprovoked like Megan or ditzy like Lulu, rather she was not all that angry at all but forgiving of Megan when you bring Megan back from London flat against Eleanor's orders), so despite the Richard subplot, (which is all Lulu gossip), I was hoping for better for her. That came - and went - with Geoffrey. And now she's banished from time travel and is unnecessarily branded the villain, (which is completely out of character for her and would suit a certain other female character far better.)

So this story is basically this: sweet nerd gets b-ch like she planned, good girl has her one good, potential lover die, then good girl does something "so bad" to become a nobody and a minor character, a forgotten one, a disgraced one. How encouraging. Or in other words, bad girl gets rewarded, good girl gets booted.

I'm not playing Gardens of Time anymore.

I'm afraid I didn't get a chance to vote, but it would have been unavailing anyway, because you didn't have one of my favorites -
Chauncey! for Chauncey McNichol, the moon seems to be full all of the time now (as witness the panda hat he was wearing
instead of his usual pith helmet), but he really is a dear old fellow, and dotty as he is, he's infinitely MORE appealing than
    Quincey.

I usually go for the intellectual types, but Quincey is a yutz, He may be off-the-charts brilliant, but he has absolutely no
finesse, and gives the impression of being rather psychoneurotic besides. Alastair is irritating; Eleanor is a case of
arrested emotional development (the way she goes haring after men like a teenager); Quincey is, well, a yutz; Megan
is rather spoiled and petulant; Lulu is a little gossip but don't sell her short - she's a lot brighter than people realize; and
sinister Richard (enigmatic though he is) also has a lot more dimension to him than heretofore imagined. (As detestable
as he is, I'd sooner have voted for Richard than for Quincey.)

Enrique is self-absorbed and thinks he's God's gift to women - but I believe he's reliable. Geoffrey, however, is the wild
card; I'm convinced that HE is the one in cahoots with Cleopatra.

And Natalie? Even though I'm SURE that she's Quincey's younger sister (they have the same eyes), she's welcome to stay
in the castle in my garden. She has lovely manners, and I'm certain that Quincey is nettled because his sister is every bit
    as bright as he is.

So, here is my assessment of the "GOT Family," however right or wrong it may be...!

I lost track of the story many chapters ago. Its becoming boring looking at all the swooning over each other and seems to be more about their lovelives than any mission to do with time. I know there was a good story at the beginning, though I have forgotten what it was because when it was close to solving it just got prolonged. I even get the characters all mixed up over who wants to be with who. I also lost track once I had to wait ages to get rep to proceed.

I'm so, so sick of the romance arcs of this game. I don't care about the intercharacter relationships, they get in the way of the "mystery" aspect of the storylines which have always been the game's strongpoint. I can't remember when the last time we got a significant development in the Cleopatra storyline. What kind of feedback are the developers getting if this is they way they're taking things?
