11/4 Game Update
Hey Deans!
We released a game update that added a host of new items in the Affiliation Section, introduced fixes to help with outstanding issues, and some gameplay changes! Here are some of the key updates:
New Content:
Soccer: Soccer has been added to College Town. That means a new upgradeable venue, soccer athletes, new events, and soccer competitions.
New events include Dance Marathon, Graduation Ceremony, and Student Ticket Campout.
Softball Practice: The previously unavailable Softball Practice event has been added to the Baseball Stadium venue.
New Features:
Newspaper Format: The Newspaper's layout has been changed and includes a brand new Featured Items section that includes Affiliated content.
New Music: The in-game music has been changed.
Scoreboard: The Scoreboard features new tabs that shows statistics and rank for yourself, other players, as well as Schools.
Player Challenges: You will no longer gain any experience points for playing others who are more than 4 levels below you.
Fixes & Optimizations:
Competition Results: Competition results from all sports will now be counted on a revamped Scoreboard.
College Town Friends: Your friends who play College Town are now correctly displayed in gifts tab. This section includes your friends who play College Town but are not yet fans.
Map Information: Your correct Spirit total will now display when in your Map View.
School Spirit: The game was not calculating the amount of Spirit correctly. You previously weren't able to add students despite it displaying that you had enough Spirit. This issue has been fixed with this update.
Loading Issues: There have been fixes for the loading issues that are preventing you from playing the game.
The Arch Sizing: The Arch used to be a 2x2 item that should have been a 1x1 item. This caused desyncs if you tried to place an item next to it. Now you can Move The Arch and place it anywhere and it should register as a 1x1 item.
Thanks for reading and we hope that you continue to play and enjoy the game. If you'd like to discuss any parts of the update, please feel free to do so in the other forum sections.
