I have been checking back once a day to see if the venue money output is changed back to the original (or at least close) amounts. I do not play each time I check and will not play unless things are changed back.
The game was fun and took more time than I wanted it to already (I enjoyed it), but now it will take far more time than it is worth. If things continue to stay the same, I am done. I will continue to check back once every day or so, but if nothing changes soon I am gone for good.
What a waste. I would have liked to have kept playing, but under these conditions it isn't worth my time or effort.
First, put away and don't sell your venues. This game is 3 weeks old, and in continuous modification to try to find the right balance. I bought a baseball field, upgraded it to level 3, then decided since it wasn't worth keeping it, put it away and built more gyms. Now that baseball pays the same as the others, just on a different time scale, I can put it back out if I choose to with no loss.
Second, you were running a 12 hr homecoming dance for $40,000...thats $3,333 / hr. With the latest update, you can run football, baseball, or basketball Div III events, all in level 3 venues, and recieve $4,350 / hr on all of them. If my math is correct...$4,350 is "greater than" $3,333. Div II is $6,100 / hr and Div I is $8,000 / hr.
Last, how is this a technical issue? Sounds to me like feedback...I'm just sayin'....

First, it only takes a couple of days to get your venues to level 5, then you can collect $8,000 / hr no matter which sport you decide to play. This is more than the $6,000 or $6,666 / hr you were getting running a 3 hr stage drama or monster truck rally for $18,000 and $20,000 respectively. Even a level 4 gym, which only costs $195,000 to purchase & go through all the upgrades costs to get to level 4, pays you $6,100 / hr to run D II events. This gives an incentive to upgrade the venues, and run more sports based events. The game does have the ESPN name on it right? Last time I checked, ESPN wasn't airing any monster truck rallies or stage dramas on any of their networks, much less on ESPNU.

Now you have to make a choice in what strategy you want to choose and can't do everything all at once it seems.
You will have to choose enrollment to get new venues..or upgrade venues without doing much to enrollment..THEN do enrollment.
I like the changes, personally.
The difference between the admissions building 'fix' and this fix is once you have already gotten your enrollment up to be able to get the max venues.. who cares? Your spirit is already up to match your enrollment, so after that, it's all just about maintaining. Adding what you can, when you can. But, they have seemed to fix the cash payouts or adjust them to more reasonable levels, and that is/was the majority of the complaints. I got the one level 5 stadium from the promo code, so it will be working doubletime until I can afford to level up my venues.
You are talking about only those who play now. I'm talking about those people and everyone who will start to play each day. There are a couple ways to change the game for the longevity. Instead of changing the whole foundation of the game, how about changing the top end, is my point. Add to it, not take away from it. There's one way to level. You need XP to level. Quit giving it away like water. When you clean your building, buy academic buildings, collect venue payouts you get XP. Eliminate the XP from payouts and continue to give the XP out when you spend your coins. As it is, you level fast because you get XP from everything you do. New players will never get the chance to enjoy the buying, building, sports venues because everything takes too long to get rolling. I suggest anyone who hasn't yet, use the promo code to get the level 5 stadium and get as many coins as you can to upgrade your venues first, then work on spirit and enrollment.
