If anything, I would recommend requesting all of the special materials now and worry about getting more time crystals later in order to upgrade the TC buildings. The special materials will most likely expire but you can still acquire more TCs after.

Since this is the first TC chapter for GoT Mobile it's all conjecture, but based on the FB and PD online versions, no once you have the item be it TC or mats in your inventory, it should not disappear.

Don't you love how they eliminated our ability to request time crystals when the time crystal chapters expired? This is so offensive. The least they could do is allow us to store the most basic materials for the game. I really have to admit that I was never so offended by this game as when I saw this ban today. It's such a money-grubbing embargo. I wonder if the makers even really want players to keep playing, or do they just want us to get fed up and leave.

You know, it sucks that people didn't get to finish their buildings, but there was a countdown on the timed crystal chapter. It's not like we didn't know when the cutoff was - we just weren't sure of what would happen when it arrived.

And just like in real life where you quite frequently have to shell out extra $$ when you miss the bus (or pay in time spent waiting for the next), if you want timed crystals, you're going to have to pay extra to compensate for the inability to finish. And you can totally do that by trading in gold for TCs (that option is still available to me, at least).

Usually, I think what Playdom does to the players is totally unfair, but in this case, we had a 32 day timer. We were told when the end was.

I was pretty sure we would not be able to request TCs anymore after the chapter expired, that's fine. But according to what someone said about how the FB version works, I did expect to still get some TCs by playing ordinary scenes. But since the TC chapter expired yesterday I haven't got a single one! I had counted on those to finish upgrade my TC buildings... do I have to wait for the next TC chapter to do that now? Has anyone received a TC the last day?

It's not the fact that the chapter expired. It's the fact that we can no longer request time crystals or get them randomly when playing scenes, so we can't be storing them up for the next time crystal chapter. It's so tacky. I'm semi-amazed that the time crystals I have banked now didn't disappear along with the tc chapter.

There's no way they could've removed the TCs we already had banked because some people may have paid gold to get them. Then again I wouldn't put it past them.
