New PvP

Like most people, I find the new version of PvP very irritating. First off, I started with a ranking over 1400 and got knocked down to around 835 after my first loss. Most of the time, I end up being paired with an opponent that has an exceedingly higher rank than me. This usually leads to an indecisive loss which makes it pointless to even play to begin with and far less fun.

I realize that "you can't win 'em all", but what is the point of playing PvP when I lose because each of my heroes is eliminated after two hits?

What was wrong with the way it was beforehand that it had to be changed?

Everyone got reset to an 800 rating after the PvP revamp. It's just that some were able to climb back up faster.

No not really. Yesterday i was 1250 (thats after the reset) i was doing pvp all day. I went to bed. This morning my rating was 750. This is complete BS.
A partial solution would be to remove the revenge system.

Were the people who beat you mostly revenges?

PVP was never a strong side of this game, but a part of a strategy IMO was chosing of the opponent when attacking. stupid AI was playing with our teams so this was already limiting, but now we can't even choose who we want to attack. as said - it's a complete BS. I also had a rating that was floating around 1200, now it's all banged up. I cant afford buying annihilators in the quantity to stuff up my armory, or CPs to buy all the heroes to get more bonus and I think the majority can't. Anyways at a certain moment I was only encouraged by the fact that UISOs were dropped there, but with this new crap - I'll stick to PvE.

I agree. like many of us exellent pvp players here i had a score of about 1300. never lost a single battle. except when i was offline and an AI was using my heroes.
now i have the lame score of 800 . ofcorse you get higher xp BUT its no consolation as you dont get to chose someone weaker than you or someone who has low pvp bonus'.
im left fighting people with 5000+ bonus' compared to my measly 3000/4000. and their all higher levels than me! now im left at a clear unadvantageand i dont want to loose my 100% win rate.

I dislike it, I was climbing my way up, I'm below 700 today for the first time ever. The fights need narrower ranges, there's no point in trying with players 6 levels higher or 600+ points higher it's an uneven and unfair fight; at least before you could choose opponents that were "supposedly" at the same level as you.

On top of that, the side mission for PvP is going to drag on, only ranked fights count towards it and saying that you win all 5 fights, you would have to come back again tomorrow to finish it off, when you could do it all in one day before.

Do Challenge points even have a purpose now?

I don't know if anyone experienced this but I automatically took a "revenge" on the player that attacked me (I must get used to not do this anymore) - I won the fight and what? In the battle reports it is counted as LOSS... not only the idea is crappy but the counting/database mechanism is buggy.

exacly. same happend to me. ive never lost a battle yet, since this new pvp, it claims i lost two of them.
