Problem upgrading the frozen falls?

I kept getting the restart message until I had the right number of gems and other items. And, by the "right number," I mean the standard number that has always been required, not the number it said I needed. I was upgrading the frozen falls from level 4 to level 5. The game said I needed 5 gems and 5 of the other item, but I really needed 20 and 10, just like always. When I had 18 gems, it didn't work. When I had 26, it worked just fine, and I now have 6 gems left, just like I should after upgrading to level 5. The next quest has been unlocked and all is normal, now.

So, it looks like there is a glitch, but not one that will prevent you from continuing with the game. (Or, I should say, it has not prevented me from continuing with the game. We'll have to see if anyone else is able to successfully upgrade with the proper number of items.)

I am glad to see I am not the only one having this issue. It started for me today and I am only at the level 3 upgrade.

This thing with the upgrading going to refreshing started last night. Today I can get into my message center, but again got the refreshing message when I tried to upgrade the frozen waterfall. So I closed my browser (Chrome), cleared my flash cache, still the same. Closed the browser, went back into the game and tried to play a scene in the regular story and although it looked like it was going to load (went to the pre-screen with the airship on it), it then went back to my home screen or garden or whatever it is called. So, Stripes, there is a problem. Just as an FYI, I have a newish (6 mos old) computer running Windows 7, and keep everything updated. I did try to open the game in IE last night when I got the refresh thing and it was the same. Today I tried it on my computer at work which is less than 3 mos old, also on Chrome. Exactly the same thing happened.

I had this problem last night also. I kept reopening the upgrade panel until I got the appropriate combination of silver, periodots and bricks and then the upgrade worked.

i awoke to find my upgrade had worked :unfortunately now asking for bronze/silver medals seems to be an issue..never rains but pours!!! game needs a good service to iron everything out instead of continual quest after quest on top of quest!!!!!

Well the upgrading issue is over thank god. And is a good thing too considering how they never answered my ticket...
