Higher levels insane

Is it just me or is it normal to reach a point where you lose half your troops every time you go into battle?
I'm level 21 and recently it seems no matter what I do I still lose a lot of troops every time I go into battle.
I'm losing more troops than the amount of silver I get from the missions can afford to replace.

You will need goods buildings, lots of them.

If you reach a certain lvl, you unlock new stronger units. Then you need to think of new attack formation to minimize loss. That's the fun part of game.

Higher level = higher troops, you will need to find a good strategy that won't make you lost a lot of troops, i've found mine due Skirmishes because you won't lose troops there, choose a weak neighbor and skirmish him until you find a good tactic Good luck

I've tried several different strategies and it's just ridiculous. I can't go any further at this point 81% complete challenges and done most missions but suddenly every time I go into battle I lose a large number of troops. If I actually win that is. There should be more of a gradual increase in battle challenge through the game not going from losing virtually no troops to losing a ton of them all at once.

Your miners level must be 5 and you got to spam some priests and then send a paladin or a cavalry, that's all i m doing and it's helping me so far

can't get level 5 miners yet. the research still hasn't unlocked

yea you need to reach level 25, keep doing challenges and you will make it
