Saving and uploading Screenshots Guide

Lots of members as , how to take screenshots or upload the images on the forum or avatar - signatures . I looked a bit in the forum and gathered some info here on this thread :

First of all , How to upload a picture on the forum :

Secondly , How to take and save a screenshot :

In order to take a screenshot you of your screen - page you were browsing and save it you take the following steps :
1 ) Press Alt + PrtSc while viewing the what you want to take a screenshot of ( search your keyboard both should be there )
2) That key combination saves the image on your computer clipboard ( memory )
3 ) Open your paint program ( for ex windows Paint )
4 ) Press Paste and the screen you were viewing before will appear on paint .
5 ) Use the region selection tool and select the region of the image you want to keep .
6 ) Press crop in order to remove all the excess regions of your image
7 ) After your image is properly cropped press save / save us and save it somewhere on your computer .

NOTE : Perhaps there may be different key combinations that work like Alt+PrtSc on some certain countries - different computer- Keyboard models , in that case you can use that key combination if it does work for you .

And you are done .

I don't know in other country, but in italy there are a button Stamp and don't need press Alt button for save in the memory.

Hmmm i didn't know that , good to know , i added a note at the bottom for that case .

I don't know what the limit is, but don't make it super duper huge.

hehe!! no... am ok with 800x600. i dunno bout the others though. i've uploaded a few images all within 800x600... and they're still there so i guess it's ok.

there is no need for you to use alt+prt scr.... just press prt scr, the alt button is usless. then do the other steps :P

It depends on your keyboard layout.
On mine, I need the Alt button to access the "print screen" function

lol on mine there is no prt scr key , but i'm on mac

it's way easier to search google to find some app that will make screenshot and upload it on some server. Or you can just download some addon to your browser which makes screenshots.

Personally i use snagit cause it can edit screens if you want to crop for example

Okay I tried searching the forum, cause I know this question was asked before. But couldn't find anything. How do you guys take these screenshots?
