Default How to beat the strongest heroes.

they are the aces of pvp, and they know it.

BUT now, thanks to this guide, find a way to beat them.

ok now let's get down to business.

the idea is to post tested tactics to beat the most popular (and strong) heroes.

i'll edit the post when a new tactic is found, since i myself don't know all the viable ones.

thanks to SRS who gave me the idea with his team build thread.

NOTES: most of the times the real danger is the agent, so you want to take him out asap. even before these guys

    Scarlet Witch:

Make sure you're a Tactician Agent. First weapon guarantees a hit(still miss-able through Reality Warp but it's OK). This triggers 2 turns for your Tac agent. Electrostatic Arm yourself, which turns your Galvanic Arm from a decent nuke to a ridiculous nuke. Then use Galvanic Arm on SW. Even if Reality Warp Triggers, even if Backfire triggers, debuffs will still be placed on her and the bonus damage is considered as DPS.

More often than not it's an Epic Overkill because of her non-existant health bar.
as suggested, take her out 1st. she will use her 1st turn to use chaos shield, 2nd turn she'll hex you. so be quick. hitting her with multi hit attacks is a good idea to get around her reality warp.

    Spiderman:
use target painter to mark him, then hit him with a high dmg weapon (ie GSE). his low health won't give him a chance.
alternatively you can hit him with a 100% hitrate weapon. if you've got a tactician in your team he'll try to hit him with his lv9 skill(if he can use it).
he owever is not the real threat since he is a protector, you want to kill the other 2 members of the team before, and for this you need sthealty weapons,
like galvanic arm and goblin glider, or sthealty heroes like kitty, invisible woman and such.

    Colossus:
the best way to deal with him is to use powerful aoe attacks, but if you can't, debuff his accuracy and then leave him alone. he wont hit you and even if he does he won't deal much dmg.
as for spiderman, use stealthy weapons/heroes to bypass his guard.

    Captain america:
if you have a blaster in your team cap will try to kill him with his leading strike, so you want to have yourself a defender (like colossus) to stop him.
if you block him with YOUR cap with shield guard, he won't even boost his companions stats.
hex him, since this will turn shield guard against him.
as with other protectors you want to use some stealthy to avoid him.

    Thor:
    he is very straightfoward.
you have 2 turns(1 if you're against modern thor, only 1 :/ ) on his 1st turn he will use inspire bravery.
try to kill him before he gets MoMx2.
if you cant, stun him(hawkeye, she hulk, thing,), or blind him(X-ploiter). if you have cap, shield guard and pray.

writing guides isn't really my thing. hope this is helpful.
feel free to signal me if i've missed important heroes
playdom can be quite lethal with a nerfbat... Black panther still cannot walk right.

Right now from what I've seen most teams are all tact. Cap WWII is seeing much play as he is the best defendr( imo needs nerf for more variety but that's another thread),emma frost is the new diamond of the game and SW is really devastating against any team with her AoE debuffing abilities.Havent really found a good way to beat them other than use same team and having mirror matches vs AI but I'm gonna experiment with a new team with New Kitty Pride(infiltrator),Phoenix(infiltrator) and tact agent. I m gonna post my results if its good as i a hoping against the current meta..
The strategy is using the 1st 3 turns of phased kitty allong with mind link from phoenix for protection and then working around with stealthy attacks like lockhead,psi-blast and goblin glider to get rid of the enemy's SW or agent(whatever is more threatening...usually SW).Phoenix's lvl9 ability can also help against a table-turner propability field. I need suggestions for agent items.

How to kill Cap while on SG in one shot: Emma will Unlock potential your agent. Then the agent must use the target painter on Cap (stealthy), chrono overdrive and Gomblin glider(stealthy). Bye bye Cap! It was nice meeting you!!! If you don't have a target painter you must use Mock's critical intel and refresh. Gomblin Glider is available in the 7-3 epic. Chrono overdrive is 20 gold in the store. And target painter is a drop and it's available in the 7-2 and 7-5 boss drop.

Here's my strategy on beating WWII Cap in PvP:

    - you need at least 3 items in battle: A Curative Reach, a Doombringer, and a Golden Tonfa or any weapon that counters when attacked (if over Level 60, your 4th weapon can be anything that heals or increases defense)
    - any two heroes that gives buffs / healing

For the first 3 turns, your team must focus entirely on buffs, especially on defense and evasion. Your Agent serves two roles: as a healer for your party and using the Doombringer to decrease the stats of WWII Cap and his two goons while increasing the Agent's. The Golden Tonfa will serve its purpose of countering any attack the opposing team lands on your agent. By the time your two heroes bite the dust, your Agent should have drained each member of the opposing team twice, making it harder for them to land a hit (and even if they did, the damage is greatly decreased). Continue using the Doombringer and heal when necessary. Just let your Golden Tonfa do the work by countering their attacks. It's a long battle, but the longer it takes, the better your chance of winning. I used the Doombringer 12 times on a Lvl 63 Agent with Max Level Iron Man and WWII Cap and won.

And your whole team will be wiped out by the other 2 as soon as cap.

I have two basic approaches to neutralizing Cap. The first is to hit him with attacks that don't provoke counter attacks such as Emma Frost's Mental Anguish, Scarlet Witch's probability field, and Faulteater. The second is to use Invisible Woman and just put him in a time out while I deal with his partners.

As for Emma, the key to dealing with her is to know when not to attack. If she's under a debuff and you hit her, the debuff goes away. If you don't hit her, she'll use War Diamond or Unleash Potential instead of her mental attacks which are nasty and she'll usually take more damage from a continuing damage debuff than she would from the hit. Obviously if she hits a character with Mental Anguish, attacking with that character is almost always the wrong move.

    My strategy with capt:

Hawkeye with pinpoint target and trick arror, if capt is stunned then my team will attack him, get rid of capt after first turn
If he isnt stunned, agent use quantum jumper and digital decoy, then my team can attack him more without losing HP

or spiderman, he is useful against capt

Hawkeye and spidey was very popular heroes among all.
