The following is a message from our game developers:
Greetings Armies of Magic Players!
We’ve heard your calls for more communication regarding recent changes, and we hope this message will help to alleviate questions and concerns. Your passion for the game and your patience with us is greatly appreciated, and we’re making every effort to continue improving the experience.
First off, we do our best to keep the three races balanced. We want them all to be competitive, but also to feel unique. It is definitely a challenge, and we continue to tweak and adjust in our endless quest to achieve perfect balance. As such, we’d would like to address a few recent changes.
We added Wound Damage, or damage which cannot be healed. Our Protector units were never intended to be unbeatable walls, but in our testing of Arena mode, we found that battles devolved into endless stalemates. This was not interesting to play, and the Healer + Protector combo proved to be the only dominant strategy. Wound damage allowed a return to the intended balance, while opening countless new and interesting strategies.
We also tweaked balance significantly on a number of units. We found that Humans were simply overpowered in head-to-head matches, and responded accordingly. We apologize for the imbalance beforehand and the surprising changes that resulted, but can assure you that we’ve seen great improvement in overall balance. We’ll continue making small improvements going forward, and will endeavor to message those changes clearly.

Human Priest range has been increased significantly.
Human Swordsman & Knight damage has been increased.
Human Halberdier range & damage has been increased significantly.
Human Barbarian units have been introduced. They are high level Melee units.
Elf Acrobat & Elite damage has been increased.
Elf Warrior units have been introduced. They are high level Melee units.
Dwarf Trapper health & melee damage has been increased significantly.
Dwarf Crusher & Launcher damage has been increased.
Dwarf Berserker damage has been increased significantly.
Dwarf Bishops have been introduced. They are high level Healer units.
We’re doing our best to make this game as fun and balanced as possible for all players. We’re going to continue to look at the data, listen to your feedback, and make adjustments to the best of our ability.
