??? He wasn't... must view link on mobile as curious now... (can't see vid on this work computer.)

Edit: Ah it's the whole "when I were a lad" thing. It was probably filmed at one of the Secret Policeman's Ball concerts - there were always various odd collaborations knocking about

I can go to my neighboring city Luleå, which is 53 km away in 45 minute. I can go to the other neighboring city Skellefteå in 50 minutes and it's 83 km. Too many of those 70 km/h roads to Luleå. Grump!

I didn't actually recognize him until he opened his mouth, his diction and accent are so unique! Those secret policeman ball things you mention, maybe it's a bit like saturday night live over here, different ppl make up the comedic ensembles each week.

Not quite as often as that, but similar I guess! It's a big concert that might be yearly but possibly less often than that, in aid of Amnesty International. They've been going since the 70s I think, and tend to result in a little bit of cross-fertilisation between different acts

Actually this year it moved to the states, which was a bit unexpected.

    Ooo I was right!

"It was also performed by Cleese, Jones, Palin and Rowan Atkinson for The Secret Policeman's Ball, the 1979 Amnesty International benefit gala."
