Each player has his own tactics, especially for unexperienced players it is only natural to test anything. The "how to" of building a team is part of this game's tactics. For me class is more important than skills. So first I'm deciding if I need a bruiser to counter a specific opponent and THEN which bruiser. aneste's lists are only great for players who decide first which hero to use and then which costume to wear on him. My suggestion would help the first kind of players without confusing the second.

i think you are in a late game then think what class is better for each hero, this list is only a form for get all in order , you come here for se where is 1 hero threat and not search in all the subforum.

For that maybe we can make a top tier list for each class (how aneste do some time ago http://forum.playdom.com/showthread....-of-Each-Class) or something like that but add all that info in this hero list for me is only complicate this list or change for what this list was make.

As I said before, my first thought building a team is NOT which class is better for my favourite hero, but which hero is the most suitable to a team where I need a hero of a certain class.

Yes, I would buy Thor if he was the best blaster against a specific opponent! Isn't this the whole point about alternate costumes?
I would even stay without a blaster untill I had the CPs for original Thor AND his blaster costume (although Iron Man is free anyway), if I was a new player, because training is time and silver cosmuming and I wouldn't like to spend them to the second best.

Listen, I don't expect you to agree with my tactics or even understand my game philosophy, just admit there are players who don't pick their heroes the way you do.

This list was made for everyone to find easily the thread of a hero according to his class (the categorization was made by aneste, not me). Therefore all heroes of the same class should be included to that class list. It's that simple.

we got 31 hero + 9 coming, each gonna get 1 alt class for sure (sure mock no, and some others like Hawkeye got 2 alt), that is 80 hero/class .... and that is the plan we know for the rest of this year, if that is not complicated not sure what is ?

and yes she/he categorized this thread for main class , can be do it in alphabetical oden or any other crazy order ....

but for me is better got it for main class like now and more easy. this is what i think

I will have to cut the discussion short.

I took your suggestion into consideration. But I don't agree with everything you say. This is basically a list of heroes. Instead of just putting them into alphabetical order I also put them into their ORIGINAL classes.
If a newbie needs to see all heroes that are in a class, they will need to see tutorials. This thread is intended to work as an index and tbh, it does its job quite well. Using 6 posts for just an index is not practical at all. But as I said before I am trying to update the index because with every added hero, I have to make massive changes.

Btw, Image limit is indeed 25. For instance blaster and tact heroes' avatars are all one image.

An also, please, do not try to discuss here with those who help on next hero thread. First of all, this is not the place. Second of all, it is unnecessary. If you think you have better suggestions feel free to give some advice yourself.
Repeating again, this thread specifically is not intended for discussion. It is only open in case someone notices a link is inactive or something similar, or has a suggestion to make OP better (like you intended to do originally).

It was not my intention to enter to this debate. Actually I could never imagine I would have to! I was only explaining what 3 of you asked me: why a different format is needed. You are finding my idea complicated, fine. Just have in mind there are also people who find the current format confusing. I do really. I would prefer the alphabetical order.

And what do you mean "give some advice yourself"?
If you mean about tactics, I'm not interested, as I already said.
If you mean starting a new thread with the exact same topic, just to apply the format I think better, I can't do that and you know it. Some moderator will delete it as duplicate. So don't give me an option does not exist!

After all you have done a great work so far and I appreciate it. I would prefer your thread to be improved rather than starting a new one anyway. Of course I could not insist on anything since massive changes are needed. Correct me if I'm wrong, you are not an employee of Playdom and every time you spend time for this forum you are paid as much as I do when I'm spending time for this community with a post or a thread (that would be 0,00$), right? So "under consideration" is the best I could hope anyway, we don't have to use bitter words about who is helpfull and who is not... (unless you meant something else - I really do hope I misunderstood)

Flinx the purpose of a Table of Contents is to help you find what you need fast and easy. What if someone needs to find the links of ALL available heroes of a class? He should go around the forum to find another thread, a tutorial, which would mention all of them and then return to this one to find the links!?!
Isn't saving such trouble the reason of this thread's existence in the first place?

Please don't make me look like I'm being irrational. I know a second link (despite the fact that would lead to the same thread) would be kinda confusing maybe, that's why I pointed right from the start that a sign "alternative" is needed! That would successfully eliminate the possible confusion.

Let's stop this conversation right here, since aneste does not want us to discuss it anymore. If she can't do it, she can't do it and I respect that.

Aneste has agreed to keep an index to make finding the links to the hero threads easier. She's kept up on that index too so that all the links work. The sorting was done to make it pretty and tidy and works for its purpose. This index is for nothing more than finding the hero thread you want to read up on. In the future it may need to be changed up to keep it useful, but for now it does the job. I understand what the debate is about here, but that would be a whole different thread than what this one's purpose is for.

I agree with the previous post too that this topic has come to a good point to stop. I'd appreciate it if we all stuck to that.
