I'm not accepting any of them because my only option has been to "Accept & Send." Also, I've noticed since this started, that's pretty much all my Message Center is getting. I don't need or want any hints; never use them. And I have over 6 million in silver, so don't need that either. I would just like to be able to get the supplies I request. All I'm doing now is deleting all the hints and silver and wishing I could get my supplies.

If you hover your mouse over the bar, an "Accept Only" button/text appears. Then of course, it asks if you want to return the favor, but you can X it out.

ETA: And, yes, as currently implemented, it is a bad, bad, bad idea. The silver keeps cycling round and round, growing as it goes, and swallowing everything else up. Maybe if it stopped after a cycle, it'd work better.

Speaking of the awful message center (smile) - does anyone else's message center look like this?



I can't see half the gifts I'm supposedly getting. Mind you, if I need a hedge shear and it tells me I got a hedge shear, when i go to upgrade the thing I needed the hedge shear FOR, i have 0 hedge shears. I'm not even going to go into the whole issue of not getting gifts. I'm just wondering if it's only me who has their message center screen all over the place.

I get the "Accept Only" option in the gifts area but not in the notifications area. I'm now just deleting them in both areas. Thanks for the response! =)

HA, YES, my Message Center used to look like this. And to alleviate not accepting what I need WHEN I need it, I just accept everything now. And, of course, anything over 10 goes to waste. But it was killing me to accept 25 of this or that and KNOW 10 was my max. At least if you do it in bits and pieces, it isn't so "painful." :-D

I think its a spam type situation. I know I am not sending any google hints, thermometers, mystery gifts and yet my neighbors tell me they are receiving them from me.. I get over 30 such gifts sometimes three times a day! today I had over 146 requests/gifts in my message box.Yikes! I am deleting all these gifts and silver ( I don't need it or want it, in fact I wish i could donate some of the silver I'm not using to those who need it) but it comes back just as fast. all I can say is "delete, delete, delete...

Agree - I don't mean to sound ungrateful - but all the silver is doing is slowing down the message center and resulting in more stuff stalling in the FB Apps & Games page. And unless someone is early in the game, the silver is pretty much useless - I already have over 11,000,000 silver coins - the trickling in of 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 coins at a time is not useful. I also regularly have my limit of 99 of each of the goggles and thermometer hints - so those are just going into the stratosphere as well - basically clogging up the system with no real benefit for the players.

Agreed to both of you - I also am not sending any hints, thermometers, but friends are saying they got them from me. My problem is that not only is the message center a MESSage center, half the "accept" or "accept and send" buttons are off my screen and I can't even X them out. I tried everything, minimizing my screen, going to 50% - can't get rid of it. I hate the waste also. Energy waste? Please. I have 237 cans of energy which, grant you, I realize I can't ever use up because I get so much every day but as soon as I click on that energy can once (for the extra energy) - the 237 goes down to 99. I hate it hate it hate it!!!!!! I started playing this game to relax and it WAS so relaxing - with no issues. Now at level 83, I'm so frustrated by the daily issues I'm almost (not quite) giving up. :-( Not a happy camper!

I agree with all of you. I want to have what I asked for and not silver, energy or hints. Never uss that ones. First when a neighbour didn't play for days all you asked from that neighbour came right true you when he started playing, and now the only things you get is silver etc. I hate it and want the old mc back. Now it takes for ever to upgrade buildings. Please change it back to the old mc
