A Machete for like 10000 coins?

I know the machetes thing has ben going on and on and on... i would like to add TWO SUPER IMPORTANT NOTES into consideration of game moderator


1- Middle eastern people, and more than half the countries of the world are banned from credit cards systems (like Paypal, Visa and Mastercard). I MEAN YES THEY CAN AFFORD TO BUY GOLD BUT THERE WOULD BE NO FREAKIN' WAY THEY CAN EVER PURCHASE IT (unless they ask some friend or relative from abroad to have it done for them, then they send the money some other way back to him like via western union or some other stuff... totally it's an OMG situation and double waste of time considering the huge amount of time consumed by the game itself).

2- That's why games usually play by the rule that (cash can make it faster and easier for you to play, not possible to play). if you can't pay "either by not having the money or not having the ability to purchase" you don't have to get the game out of your mind.

So you can make it really better by making machetes a 2-way available. one of them is free and super awful like spending 10000 coins for a machete in addition to the option of spending 15 Golds for 10 machetes (which will be the equivalent then for like 150000 coins then, DAMN!).

this is a win win situation. game will spread like 10 times more, be a huge-time-spender like 100 times more, and help people who can't buy gold but still be a pain in the ass for those who ACTUALLY HAVE THE CASH AND ABLE TO SPEND IT.

There are like 100M users in the Middle East alone, Don't lose them knowing that they can't pay you either way

I understand that Paypal is not available for Middle Eastern countries.

As for credit cards though, other than Iran and Libya, you should easily be able to obtain a credit card in all other Middle Eastern countries, no?

I know that in Syria and Jordan, credit card use is often restricted to top-end hotels, but there should be nothing preventing you from registering a credit card for online purchases.

Let me know if my understanding is incorrect, as I don't live in the Middle East. Much appreciated.

I guess things got much more complicated. as the "arab spring" issue makes it more difficult to interact with any American or European organization right now. and somethines it's an IP issue like in paypal itself, even google has ristriced us recently here in syria, microsoft has done the same as well.

anyways. i thought it would make it much fun and achievable, harder though. I guess there should be a way to make this game more that just once-a-week-thingy. this way it would make you more devoted to doing other stuff (planting and building and collecting money, food...etc) so you can buy a machete, then continue farming or whatever to buy another machete... and so on and so forth

I guess the designers chose that we buy them with cupcakes. It would be no different if you paid in silver rather than cupcakes. at the moment I focus on producing food to speed up production, I could just as easily focus on producing silver to buy machetes.

To change now would unfortunatly be impossible. As silver seems to be designed to be a restriction only at low levels, veteran players have vast hoards of silver saved with little to spend it on other than playing with decorations. At the moment (at 10000 per machete) I could buy over 600 machetes with silver.

I'd rather see the return of a (reliable)daily bonus, with gift of machetes/bombs and other useful items available. Thus encouraging daily play and would favour the newer player.
