Gardening tools? (Decorations Upgrade Discussion)

I see that iron, granite and glass have been replaced by gardening tools - gardening forks, hedge shears and flower pots.

Does anyone have any idea what these items will be able to upgrade?

I've looked at the few buildings I haven't upgraded and the old sandstone, screws, nails, iron, granite, glass and marble are still needed.

Does this mean that I'll never be able to get more of these old building materials?

There must be more items that I don't see - I just received a hose, a wheelbarrow, a bag of soil and gardening gloves.

I have soil, wheelbarrow, and spade to give. I guess we'll find out when quests start coming up.

OMG! I just accidently figured it out. We can upgrade trees, forest patches, etc!!!

Great job devs!! Now our GARDENS can look pretty instead of like warehouses!! As FYI, you can still send building materials by selecting the mystery gift and click choose another gift until you find the item you want to send!

I never knew that about selecting mystery gift to find what you want to send. Two pieces of great news in one morning!!

Being able to upgrade the decoration is good news. I like my trees and flowers. But I do have a question, are we from now on only able to send these gardening tools directly and if we want to send building material we'll have to do it via mystery gift? Or is it going to change from time to time?
