In response to your concerns, we will soon be adding the option to play the original 'last man standing' style of gameplay in your multiplayer matches. Because of certain constraints, there may be some slight differences between the new option and the original gameplay mechanic, but you WILL have the option to play single death matches. This option will take at least a few days for the team to push out so be please patient while we work on it!

Hopefully by "some constraints" you don't mean there wont be the water hazard... that was a key part of the death match mode I think.

IMO I played almost exclusively quick play, and that was my favorite... quick and fun.

I wouldn't mind unlimited weapons as long as wind & water come back. The water *was* the timer before. And the water upped the skill needed to play.

To a point I agree! One thing I mentioned that I notice has come back is the swinging on a grapple! Not sure if my mention of it almost stopping when one's turn is over made them change it or not but I am glad it is back! Sometimes a nice wide swing can keep you alive for a long time...hard to hit a moving target (but easy to hit a hookon point!!!)!

I'm looking forward to having the option to play the original game (or any version thereof where no dead shmuck is respawning). As soon as it's up and running, I'll reinstall the application and start over from level 1. It's a small sacrifice but definitely worth it to let you guys know you can't jerk us around, do whatever you want to the game, call it an "improvement" or "update" and expect us to stick around.

Thanks for finally coming around but the response time for dealing with such an immediate public outrage was awful. We don't have the original format back yet, but at least we have confirmation that it's coming. Why did it take so long to even get a response from you guys? Why did it take you guys so long to admit what should have been obvious to everyone 48 hours after these updates were made? And why does it take so long to RE-institute something that already existed in the first place? This code was already written; it's not like you guys had to make something new. And yet we're still waiting for it?

As much as I like the new version, I miss the old one too. I am quite happy this will be returning soon. Hopefully you can re-add speed play, rising water, limited weapon uses and all that other good stuff. ;)

this game went from super sweet 2 garbage turn the respawn off its lame.... game waz 1 of the best games on myspace and now its like a lame zynga game.. i played this game every day befor now i dont want 2 play it at all in fact if it dont get beter soon im going 2 do what i did with all the zynga games i tryed and just remove the garbage...
