Put the wall bonus pops in the gifting center

I get so irritated with the pop-ups that I sometimes don't share. And then I feel guilty. I can't hold Playdom responsible for my slow internet speed, but my experience with the popups is that I go to organize events and I get a pop on every one to two clicks. And I'm one of the people experiencing the jumpy page issue, so the page jumps around a bit before I can click to share. Then the facebook window opens and it jumps around until I can finally click it. And then I hit "organize again" and another popup comes. And every time I organize, it runs through every possible wall bonus currently active. Every freakin one. Every intramural prop, every upgrade item, every lost boyfriend, every lost pet. All of them. So whereas I might complete an SA event in five minutes, it takes me 15. I also have this problem when trying to do the philanthropy/quest work, with the "you just found a" whateveritis and asks you to send to a sister. So I do, and by the time I have dealt with that popup some fighter has beat me down and now I have to go to the spa again. And that happens at least twice every time I attempt the quests. And then sometimes when I bother to do it, it will tell me that I can't post to that person's wall. Ugh. Total waste of time and spa money.

So here is the suggestion. Put the wall bonuses we get to share in the gifting center. When the gifting center first opened we had to suffer through the facebook share window the first time for each sister. And inside that share window was a checkbox that said "don't ask again." The same thing could work with those wall bonuses. We might have to have the facebook window the first time, but with a "don't ask me again" checkbox, the second time around would go quickly, just like sending and receiving gifts. And I bet people would start sharing ALL of their wall bonuses.

It annoys me greatly that the page jumps back to the top every time I click on something and something pops up. I end up clicking on stuff I do not want to click on. I wish we could turn off the feed pop ups. I dont post them usually unless they are something rare and very useful because my page is also my personal profile and my coworkers see it as well.

I understand the advertizement pop ups are neccessary and we can get rid of those by becoming VIP if we want.. but the feed pop ups should be optional IMO

I WANT to share. I'm an organizer and I like helping other organizers. But it impedes my own efficiency and pleasure in playing the game when it is constantly popping up. Every new day when I go to organize I get 9 intramurals prop popups, three upgrade outfit popups, a passport popup, and then if there is a three-piece outfit collection, pet or lost man, I will get those too.

Well yeah it would be pretty cool instead of them popping up.. they just collected in a tab under the gifts box.. and then you could do them all at once like you do the gifts. Thats a good idea.

I do get that they are supposed to be random, so you cannot do them whenever you want (like would happen if they were in the gift tab center). However, they are far too frequent. I might click ten times and get 4-6 popups for various items.

It was bad enough before they added in the style upgrade items, but now there are 4+ more items (plus SA items when in Fairytale adventure) that are adding to the mix.

I guess my solution to them would be:

Move anything that is ok to send freely to the gift center as suggested above (such as intramural items. Do they really have to be random?).
Keep -rare- gifts that must be random in the popups (like unique glam items), or gifts that need to be limited (like paintbrushes, I suppose).
Drop fluff popups (like style upgrade items, since we get those from socializing, or advertisements, (Advertisements are fine when they are inserted into an announcement/level up/doubled with something else, but plain advertisement popups interfere with use of the opera browser for play, plus that's a negative response to the advertiser, not going to attract the player to them, if its a useless popup), items like strength/stamina potion (make these craftable or in gift area instead).

For a standard game, I don't expect more than about 10% of my clicks to lead to popups (other than level up advertisements). It would be nice to see the frequency of the pop-ups lowered so that time wasted in game x-ing out of them lessened.

I agree with Moxie as well: too many popups makes me less likely to send them on, not more.

I am the same way. I rarely share because there are too many pop-ups. If it is something new, I will go ahead and share.

It would be nice if there was a place in the gifting section where every pop-up gets added to a list and we can choose to publish that list with a single click.

Great idea I'm so sick of the popups! especially for things like paintbrushes and style upgrade items: each player only needs a fixed number of brushes (everybody in my house already has what they need!) so the popups are pointless - why not move to the gifting center? and the style upgrades are equally pointless because it seems like ever third click the outfit drops from the event (not as a popup)...does anybody really need the popup to collect the glam??

I agree! It would be a waste of a bonus click to use on that! You could get chocolate bar, lipstick or 25 energy from the choco beans.....
The last time I used up my 50 fairies on the Packing event, I got a popup EVERY TIME! I posted ZERO!

I agree with everything above with one addition: For me, I get a bonus pop up and an ad pop up EACH time I organize an event. I would accept 10% as stated above, but 100%? (Or technically 200% because I'm getting two an event.) I waste time and money in the spa because I fight pop ups and then get put in the spa after one IM/quest. This. Is. Ridiculous.

^^^ This!!! The page bouncing back up to the top while in the middle of clicking something is INFURIATING! It makes me dizzy and nauseated, too.

I'm a VIP, and I still get most of the popups that are supposed to not show up.. I have Firefox set to block those.

I disagree with you that advertisements are fine when inserted into an announcement/level up or "doubled with something else", whatever that means. especially the video ones. Those made me even more likely to close the box ASAP. I'll gladly watch a video that gives me BPs, but not when it's something that gives nothing back. If it happens during a bonus, that's even more drive-me-crazy. When they first started inserting ads everything, I was already a VIP and had to set Firefox so that they block them out entirely now. So I don't know what they were attached to that I might be missing, which is the bad part.

I still collect outfits from Sisters' posted bonuses because my hunters don't do many Events. So, yes, some of us do need the popup posted to collect the item.

I agree with that sentiment ENTIRELY. Especially since I have a House of 1300! NO I DO NOT NEED MORE SISTERS! The people from my friend list that want to play, already do! The ones that don't? Blocked the game a LONG TIME AGO. The invite Sisters popup sometimes double pops up over another bonus, and I can't simply slick off of it to close it.. it makes me click that X in the corner. Kills my rhythm! And sometimes the bonus under it, too. At least for me, it usually only wants me to "throw a party" when I TD someone... ;)

Are these pop-ups the in-game type or the ones with product advertisement?
