Alright guys, this is it. All these new updates, I can't stand them. This game was a beast a month or two ago. Now, it sucks. You win by getting the most kills. I've already experienced noobs waiting for a low health player then steal the kill. 5:00 time limit??I thought that's what Speed Play was created for, so people could have a fast match. I, personally, would like a drawn out match and a competition of the fittest. Also, all these people cheating, hacking, and getting the unfair use of a Minigun, it's annoying.

Goodbye Playdom. I give up. All of these new updates just to please all the new players, I can't stand them. So by gaining new players, you lose previous, faithful players.

This is my goodbye. I will give you guys a month or two to fix this. I will NOT visit this forum or Wild Ones between then. If I come back and it's still in the dumps, I'll never come back.

This game has become a contest to see who can kill the most, but that fails with the kill your ownself bug. I think they were trying to take the teaming up out of this game. I hardly team up anyways. I may help someone but thats it.

There are always bugs when it comes to new updates, but this many bugs something went wrong. I hope they fix this game. Because i like it.

You had something good and you turned it into crap. Just admit that you turned it into crap and change it back. If you do nothing and keep it the way it is, many of your most loyal players are walking out and not returning (myself included).

I'm not happy at all with the new changes.
We need the wind back, and the ability to purchase weapons in between matches without going to the homepage (this allows us a rematch possibility).

I do like the angel, and I like the new scoreboard with the options buttons.


Things I would like to see implemented...

-1v1 option.

-Team Matches.

-More Pets & Weapons.

-Less pop-ups during the game & when purchasing weapons (we don't need to tell our friends every time we bought a teleporter).

-More environmental factors such as weather (rain, fog, or other things that would impede visibility), and other disasters such as earthquakes, or hail.

-A friends option, so you can find players that you enjoy playing with without having to give away personal information to find each other outside of the game.

-Enemy list, so you can find the players that you really enjoy having it out with.

I really liked the old system. It was fun when I was a noob 2 weeks ago. I can understand the frustration everyone is having cause I really liked it before they completely changed gameplay style as well as the multiplayer aspect.

I'm sure in their perspective they are also looking to give you guys a better game so that it's more fun to play and it goes along with their vision. Pretty sure they aren't just ignoring their current players and doing their own thing since you saw the first roll back. Actually I'm not sure what's on their mind with all these major changes. Perhaps that's what Wild Ones was supposed to be -- a quick 5 minute match for everyone.

The only reason i continue to play this failing game is to waste the weapons i have worked so hard to get. i'm lvl 54. and i am deleting this application if it doesnt return to its previous state. the game was nice, and fun how it was before, with the simple updates such as additions of levels, weapons, and pets.
the water and wind were nice,
i liked the game when it was more similar to a remake of "worms"
i'm pretty sure it'll keep everyone happy if you keep it near those boundaries,
because this update is ridiculous and retarted in every way.

I think that there should be game modes like this new one (time mode) one kill mode (previous mode) and a team mode for each mode to prevent Kill Steal.:)

I've been playing this game for weeks now- on MySpace AND on Facebook. I was hopelessly addicted until the new changes took effect. What a horrible, horrible waste of a good game. I despise the new game play. I, like others here, am saying goodbye to Wild Ones. I MIGHT check back in a few weeks to see if the developers wise up and change it back. If they have not, I'm deleting the app altogether. There's a million other game diversions online so I'm just not interested in putting up with this lame POS version of Wild Ones. The new updates, especially respawn, have destroyed game play and strategy. Wild Ones has become nothing more than a kill fest, which becomes boring almost immediately. I encourage everyone who is upset with the changes to boycott Wild Ones. Unlike the game if you are on Facebook. Fill out a Playdom support ticket and let the developers know that the game now sucks (help in the game).

As an older player on Wild Ones I loved the ability to out think your opponent even when there were two against one. Now that it has changed, even if you had a team member, he turns on you if it is his turn. I believe that I to am done. If you are the first shot, it is blood in the water for the rest. I've been playing Wild Ones for a while and I DISLIKE the new updates VERY MUCH. Being able to use more weapons is great but NOT the 5 minute limit and definitely NOT the coming back to life thing. You've taken the fun from this game as well as the whole strategy and thinking of the game.

I've also noticed a considerable drop in the number of players. It's hard to find a full game and sometimes you only end up fighting one person. Not really worth the wait for the coin. I used to look forward to playing and I thought this new thing was just temporary & waited for the return of the way it was played before. Now I'm finding out that this is it???

I will keep the game open for a week and if there aren't any changes then I'll be moving on and looking elsewhere for my gaming fix. There are 12 others who aren't happy and will do the same. This number may not mean much to you but that's the way it is. Normally I just roll with the updates for games and this is my first post EVER not in favor of a game I've played.

Thanks for trying to improve the game but your endeavors have fallen short of their mark and actually taken steps backwards.

The game was a very good game and a lot of people enjoyed the skill and strategy it took to be successful. The people who like the changes seem to be lacking both.

Thanks for the advice but... I disagree that if a product I like is changed to something I don't like, I should just quietly walk away. Maybe that's your style but that will never get a person what they desire. So, I tell them. It's the only way they know. If they do not give us back a game where skill and strategy are important, I will remove the app and not play but I believe that the developer should have a chance to rectify their mistakes before I (like a sniveling coward) walk away without voicing my opinion.


I'm afraid you might be right about one thing, there is probably no use in complaining. I've yet to see a mod comment or any show of concern to the players. Alas, I still have a small bit of hope that Playdom will see that they have made a mistake and revert.

For me, it actually makes the difference between the game being fun and, as it is currently, not fun.

It makes the game utterly skill-less. you can hit anyone anywhere on the map and the first person to get hit is always going to lose. The winner is whoever finishes off the weakest person when their turn comes up. You cant have respawns in a game that is turn based. Any gamer knows that.
Please change it back to the old way or make the old way accessible to those that want it.

I used to be able to throw my transporter and then throw a grenade or something but with the new weapons changer, it makes it all but impossible for someone like me who has Kienbocks Disease or someone who has carpel tunnel! Also....I used to know how much time I had left, now all I know is whether I have half a pie or 1/4 of a pie WTF?!?

WildOnes was a bright spot in my otherwise insane day. This new update is more work than fun. I'll check back later and see if you've done anything to fix it. It might be OK (JUST OK) if I could rearrange my weapons, but I spend half my turn trying to figure out what the heck I need.

On the bright side, I'm no longer tempted to play it instead of doing what I need to do, so for that, I thank you.

The point system isn't all that big of a deal, at the least it prevents pple from stealing kills and then you end up with no credit for basically killing the guy yourself.

The weapons set up on the other hand is utterly worthless...............it takes too long to pull up the screen find the weapon you want to use then fire it, it just doesn't fit even close into the time for each turn.

"With the new match play in place, what are your favorite options for a multiplayer room? For those of you who don't like the new style of match play, we will soon be adding the option to play the original, 'last man standing' style of matches"

Let's hope they provide the option soon?

Personally, I would like to also see an option for the old weapon selector in the new mode, just add a horizontal scroll/fast-forward so i can view all my weapons. make it collapsable or something.

I'm just going to keep playing and see what happens. Nothing to lose, and it's still easily more entertaining than those farm games. Look how many weapons they've put out in the past few weeks in comparison to the 2 months before. Let's get some new pets in there too, game admins ;-)

it's been a long time since my last visit to this forum and here's my commentary of the updated wild ones...

first of all, the weapons inventory is gone a mess. There are no even hotkeys when ever you want to choose a weapon. It take time-pressure to click those weapons without any shortcut keys of those when you needed it to put on fire.
SO PLEASE. mods, admins, and developers of Wild Ones... If you read this thing right now, fix this thing sooner... and DON'T FORGET TO ADD SHORTCUT KEYS to the weapons inventory. ( I hope you're reading this)

And aside from that thing....
I like the new gaming mechanics. It makes me feel playing better on hitting to score rather than kill to score.


and until now, NO NEW PETS since wild ones introduced into the internet.
and please tighten your security. I have suspected many hackers into the game.

I agree, the game no longer takes any strategy, you just shoot stuff. it used to be fun, now it just sucks. I would very much like there to be a classic mode that has none of the new upgrades like the points system. I want 1 life, less damage, to be able to select your weapons quicker so that you can use the highly strategical move of throwing a teleporter, and then dropping a grenade which you cannot do with the new weapons update, and I want to be able to select your pet on the game screen. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I agree with you Buddy, I read the first 3 pages , then moved on to 7, everyone is complaining about the same stuff, that it takes weeks of programing to do.
I dont have a face Book, and since this game has only been on Myspace For About only 2 months or so, I have seen maybe 3 updates, including test patch's if even only for 10 min at a crack, I dont really see how you guys can complain.

Even now theres a new pet coming out yea(the cat) which everyone wants but have no clue of what it will do, , and yes they could have put it out some time ago with some of the video's I have seen.
Then we come to the the Armadillo, dont get me started on a pet that will just erase the map every turn for 20 seconds. , lets see what am I missing?

Weapons :
Altho may not All be new, Now Have more dmg then they used to. So far i have seen antigrav missile, introduced, as a temp, Some bought them some didnt have the chance too, Spider bomb. introduced and put in the shop for Treats, Shuriken bombs introduced to the shop for treats, theres ur weapons in less then 2 months.. Oh Whoops Dont forget the MINIGUN< that everyone wants now, Can't buy it, Supply Drop in Game, I think thats Awesome then its Based on Probability .

Put some New Gear Items in, they gave us a flack Jacket
Made it so We can Buy weapons In game which, at first I admit was a Bad Idea, however I have since changed my view since I only play the Dmg Rounds, I go through alot more weapons then i did playing normal,. but yea..

Hot keys for weapons well I guess I ask my self how my Memory is B4 trying to set to many, Im just a mouse person,which can be good for some and Bad for others, I think having all Weapons in a match is what they were going for, I just wish that WE COULD ARRANGE THEM IN OUR OWN MANNER As in if Im out of something I can Move it aside to a new Spot.

There needs to be somehting done about the mini gun cheat that is out there. One guy had 879 of them saying it was given to him from the creater of the game he said he got 1000 free. If this is the case we all should get 1000 free from the creater of the game so it is fair. Also, when a person leaves his/her animal should stay, too often people leave the game and it ruins it because it always becomes 2 vs 1 and that is not too much fun. Don't know who reads thies posts but if someone who works on the programing does please see if you can do something about thies problems as the game is starting to suck. If you can't remove all the mini guns give them to everyone. i think the cheat is for 1000 so make it fair to all and give everyone 1000 mini guns

This game just keeps getting worse and worse, and now this latest update is just the last straw.

I played a round a bit ago... all land destroyed, every player just fell fro the sky to the ground and died infinitely.


The player who wins is the player who uses the most expensive weapons.. period.

This would be ok (If not terribly annoying) if the game were still fun, but it's not. There's no skill anymore.

This is the wost tinkering I've ever seen in a game. It has gone from Great, to good, to playable, to unplayable.

Remember the uproar when you could one-shot kill players with weapons?

You got rid of it. Now we have dozens of one-shot kill weapons. People nuke the entire map away. Many maps are literally one-shot-I-win if you spawn on the bottom thanks to the large explosions.

Don't expect to gain many users once the freebie weapons run out.

Alright guys, this is it. All these new updates, I can't stand them. This game was a beast a month or two ago. Now, it sucks. You win by getting the most kills. I've already experienced noobs waiting for a low health player then steal the kill. 5:00 time limit??I thought that's what Speed Play was created for, so people could have a fast match. I, personally, would like a drawn out match and a competition of the fittest. Also, all these people cheating, hacking, and getting the unfair use of a Minigun, it's annoying.

First of all, let me start with saying I absolutely love this game and it's so much fun to play! I've spend many hours already and loved all of them.

There are just 3 major annoyances which really bother me.

Paying for weapons
While I absolutely understand Playdom wants to make money with their games, I think they're going a bit too far in this one with making you pay for weapons. Almost every weapon that's just a bit more fun or effective over the really simple one can only be bought with real money.
I mean, I absolutely understand you want to make people pay for weapons such as all the airstrikes, the Kiss Goodbye bomb, the Starfield Ninjastars or the Game Over Nuke. These weapons are of great power and can make you win games easy, so you want to keep them exclusive.
But be fair, a lot of weapons are just too simple and weak to buy with real money. As examples: Tornado Grenade (single), MIRV (weak one), Baby Nuke, Rubber Grenade Trio, Shuriken (just 3 stars) and Missle Stream (3 missles).
It's really not a bad thing to have these go for ingame gold. Maybe make them fairly expensive so they stay a bit exclusive and only for the more dedicated players.
I am now level 40 so I have a nice assortment of fun and more powerful weapons which I use only when I really need to. But when those are gone, I think I'll be at about level 50, I have no idea how to keep winning matches then. Sure your answer will be "by paying" but I think that's just not fair. Good chance will be I'll just quit because I'll only have way too simple weapons at my command.

The "Super Weapons"
Right the 2nd thing which is so **** is the imbalance in power between weapons. Imbalance in damage they can deal and in amounts of playfield they can destroy.
Let's take for example the 2 biggest Nukes or the Kiss Goodbye bomb. Dropping just 2 of those can remove about 80% of the battlefield, and when they're shot at the center of the lowest layer, you will only have some tiny walls on the sides left and if you take 1 step or take just a slight hit, you will fall down and die. Also, this makes it even worse, the game should drop dead players on land. Well with the situation above (which by the way happends so often) players often spawn above destroyed ground, falling down and dying again. I had this myself like 4x in a row and it ended my turn. Gosh that was fun.. my entire turn was watching me spawn above nothing -> die -> spawn above nothing -> die.... 4x....
The weapons above but also some others deal just too much damage. In a game where you win on getting max points, you can drop just one of the weapons above and you're getting like 5K points if your aim was somewhere near decent, even more if you aim well or have a food powerup.
How the hell do you ever expect any of the other players to catch up on this without using those insane weapons as well ? It removes the entire part of needing skill and good aim to win. And like I said before, using those weapons will remove way too much of the battlefield so there isn't even real battle possible anymore.
There are however also weapons where I think you did a real good job at. Take the minigun, it can be soooo dangerous but if you're shooting just 1 player its not that extreme. The 5xTornado Grenade is a bit random and doesn't destroy the battlefield. And the Missle Streams can be very dangerous if aimed well but if you miss, all your missiles go to waste.
That's the way it should be.. High potential danger -if used well-

Ok moaning is easy enough, let me think of some solutions, or just random changes I think would really benefit the game.
- No overkill points for killing a player with 1hp down with a massive nuke (he should get 1 point not 3000 or whatever it is)
- Reduce the amount of destruction of the landscape with the super weapons
- Fix lag...
- Fix where players (chain)spawn above destroyed ground
- Reduce the damage on the superweapons
- In addition to the above, bring all weapons together in damage done, the differences are wayyyyyy too big
- Make more weapons obtainable with in game money, high prices to keep them exclusive
- Paying for expendable ammo is.. well.. shooting away your real life money.. Kinda odd don't you think? How about this... (just an example) The Kiss Goodbye bomb costs 7500 gold each, with membership only 250 gold each. So they're hardly affordable without being a member (and if you can get one, you have to save up for another for loads of matches) but when you're a member you can buy them easilly. Huge benefit for the members and it doesn't feel like shooting away your real money.
- I'm not sure about the Chainsaw weapon. I personally have no problems with the blood splatter (I'm 27) but I think it's a bit horrific for younger players. You could also make the animal fall apart in slices without showing guts, blood or gore.
- Selecting weapons in game is horrible. It's really good you can pre-select a weapon when it's not your turn yet but sometimes something random happends and you want another weapon. Good luck finding it... How about making them movable from the main page? So you can change all your favorite ones on the first page, or organize them more, just whatever helps you finding the right weapon.
- Make something to keep players in the same range of level or games won. Being in a party with a level 5, 30, 60, 100 doesn't make sense. The level 5 won't have any special weapon, the higher levels can piss all over him with their free superweapons they got from leveling up (plus they got loads more experience with the game)
- Is anybody from Playdom actually reading this? I see pages full of ideas/comments/ranting/whining but not a single response from a Playdom employee... All it takes is just 10 seconds of posting "OK we've read all this" Don't even need to say "thanks for the input" or "we'll take it in consideration", just let us know it's being read.

These ideas will make the game extremely much more playable. You would still get paid members and I think people would more quickly decide to pay if the game is playable (be honest, getting paid members is all you care for in the end) Also, the factor of "skill" would be brought back in the game and it would really feel more like a little war where you defeat your opponents instead of just selecting a superweapon, close your eyes, shoot it, open them and you've won.

I hope you're still reading here. Like I said before, I really love this game, but the 3 things above are just really annoying. Without the superweapons you can't win if somebody else uses them, and to actually have some decent weapons you have to pay.
Somewhere I'm afraid this is all on purpose so you feel you -have- to pay to win, but I really hope I'm wrong here.
I personally don't mind paying for games, but I'm not paying for this one (yet??) because of the issues above. Why would I pay for weapons which actually remove the fun and skill-part of the game... ?

Let me say i was here when ammo was limited, prices at the shop were extremely overpriced and there was barely any money items. Now here we are with super weapons that can destroy a person in 2 rounds or less,tons of items and are cheap and a whole ton of money items. I would much rather have the old Wild Ones back. Back then it was about skill, thinking ahead, and using your weapons efficiently.Now its "who cares about those , ill just use nuke and that will kill em".

They should at least make a classic mode where the only weapons are rocket launcher, teleporter, grenades, drill gun, beehive, goo globgun,grapple hook, mirv, and 2 useable abilities of the pet u use.(armadillo and monkey would have infinite use). Maybe the laser cannon as well. also this version should have the old way of health(could be more health depending on pet).Oh health packs only restore 100 here.Idk if this was added or not but the weapon packs u pick up on the ground should be added to your total amount of that weapon. For example u have 79 teleporters already, u pick up a teleporter but dont use it in the match.This should be added so u have 80 teleporters now.

They have to make money some way. It's not cheap trying to run a game. Anyways, they aren't charging all even non members just to play the game. If you really want the bonuses,like NEED it then by all means find a way to buy membership yourself. Oh, by old wild ones, you mean no unlimited lives and select weapons, which seems to be the "weak" weapons. You'd be surprised how you can win with "weak" weapons,no not by cheating, by using your skills. So there is some skill needed left..at least it's something...;)

well, in regards to the spending money thing...i used to spend a little money on this game, (just a few quid), because it was just "extra" features...but now my favourite weapons now can only be brought using treats, when it used to be gold payment...extremely unfair, so i'm not going to give playdom ANY of my money. fortuanately for me, i'm in the position where i have a good job and can afford to spend a few quid on a flash game - but some people aren't in such a situation! i say, at least make treats buyable with gold. playdom; i'm sure i'm not the only person whos money you've lost.

Dragons are not worth the money spent to get them.

Their jump height is horrid.

Their special attack (fire breath) can only be used once, which is lame considering a rabbit can jump as many times as they desire. Also, the attack isn't "that" powerful. Its a DRAGON, guys.. he's supposed to be awesome. If i'm going to be the automatic target of everyone in every match I play, at least give decent skills to use so I can fight back with the dragon. Right now, if i'm 4th or even 3rd in line, i'm dead... every game.

The only slight positive about the dragon is that it does seem to be able to take hits *slightly* better than a bear.

Guys.. its just not worth the money people spend on getting a dragon currently. At best, its a lame version of a bear. I don't expect to be superman with a dragon.. but I expected... something.. anything better than what it is currently.

As is, its simply not worth the cash spent.

Not much is worth the cash spent in wild ones, the only thing I pay for is the membership to get the extra experience and a few items for coins. I get that Playdom will lose out on money if they made the majority of items purchasable with coins, but some of the prices just seem rediculous. They have to keep in mind that the majority of their players will be minors or people who will not pay to play.

What I vent about is the reason that too many people use kameha"___" and most of the time it's the people who color hack their pet and eventually hack the pet's abilities like I've been seeing the hamster ability being used more than once.o.O

Well hackers DO spoil the fun sometimes, but just don't let it get to you. If most of us play properly, I don't think the powerful weapons are a problem.

I mean.. when they first came to light, it was a shock-day for all, and most people have gone and used their powerfull weapons. I used probably only 1 of each type to see how it works, and saved them. People stopped using them so much eventually. Then I got it back at them =D And now - if you send gifts with your friends you usually get super weapons... :)

This forum is a lot better than the other one I used to go to. If Wild Ones becomes too similar to the other game I used to play, I'm quitting. The other forum and game completely sucked... even the people on the forums weren't that great. Ha
