What is the "Garden Path?"

I had noticed a square called "Garden Path" in with other paths available for purchase, like brick path and cobblestone. This one looked plain, but had "Let your visitors tiptoe through the tulips" as it's message, if you clicked on it.

I did not buy one because one square cost one gold bar! But I just received one as a gift from a neighbor! Yay!

Well, so far, I can't see what it does. Can anyone tell me? I'm certainly not seeing anyone tiptoe through the tulips in my Central Park!

Basically, it's just another path, but tulips border it, and characters can walk through the path.

This is a little of my friend's garden with the garden path, it is pretty but expensive...

You are right--it's a pretty path for a garden ... but one gold bar per square is too expensive for me! Thanks for sharing that picture!

I was so excited to see a new path when it came out that I didn't notice it was for gold. I paved 3 squares before I realized it! I was so mad but I have bought a few more here and there and got a few in my hidden gifts. I'm waiting to find 2 more so I can finish something in my animal farm. I might give in and buy them since I have 4 gold left over from the car insurance quote thingie.
