Wood for Gnoming Beacon

Does anyone know how much wood is needed to hammer a terrace for the Gnoming Beacon. I have 2154 wood but it's still telling me I don't have enough :(

It should tell you when you hover over the building...?

It doesn't say anything when you hover over it and the quest just says "You will need a lot of wood to make a terrace that high"

I don't know exactly how much wood you need, but I can tell you that when I had that quest, I had about 10,000 wood, which was enough... ;)
