There should be a thread for us to vent about the latest way playdom has been horrible to us. I'd like to start by saying that I never received my glam from the Holiday Countdown from almost a year ago. After almost a year of emails I was finally told that it had been too long and nothing would be done to fix it. Same with the Beijing achievements. Both of these things I spent BP's that I bought with real money on. So that's why playdom hates me. What's your story? :D

oh lets see, i'm missing like 100 pieces of glam from the heart to heart where they plainly told me i wasnt bright enough to do the event directly like i dont know how to read directions!!... i've bought bps and NOT been credited or been double charged before, their answer "we dont refund or replace missing game items".... i've been wrongly disabled for like 24 hours before, i ALSO am missin the holiday countdown stuff and i have serious issues with the ppl they do their bp stuff thru, trial pay or whatever. doing the offers and not being credited. like the new york times one. playdom says contact trial pay , trial pay says contact playdom. my answer :rolleyes: DO UR JOB BETTER... yet im still here. wonder why lmao

Good Evening! :D Just a question, have you PMed Whitney about this? I don't know but maybe she might be willing to look into it for you. Community Managers sometimes have 'ways' to get things done that you may not be able to get done through the support portal.

no i havent, i just got so sick of the constant robot responses i dont even bother with a ticket anymore. the heart to heart event is what ticked me off the most, i spent about 200 bps on that thing! and got nothing but one piece of glam becuz the "claim" button was not working on their end. >:(
I don't see how legally a company can withdraw funds from someone's personal bank account and not deliver the product. That is illegal. Ignorance plays no part when it comes to the law. I ordered bp the other night and were not given them, went immediately to my online banking account and the money was taken out from my bank account. What kind of racket is this game? I'm not the only person this has happend to and I am sure I won't be the last. Playdom is opening the door for future problems if they continue to treat their customers like that. I will never again purchase anything with my hard earned money from this game again. And yes, I do check my bank account daily and better not see money out of my account that I did not authorize.

I haven't either because from what I've seen talking with Whitney will only lead her to tell you to put in a ticket...which I have done more times than I can count. I don't see how she would even be willing to help given that playdom has basically written me off so they don't have to do the work to help me. Thanks for the advice though. :)

People react to PM's (Private Messages) differently than they do board posts. Not saying it will work, but right now you got nothing at all so you really don't have much to lose by asking. :D
And yea, Playdom certainly has it's share of 'buggieness' so I 100% sympathize with you guys. Completely.
I do hope you are able to get what you are owed. :)

It's reading things like this that keep me from ever spending real money on this game. Even if I were ever to decide that I have enough extra funds to justify spending real cash on pixel stuff, I can't see it being worth my effort towards supporting a company who takes this sort of attitude towards it's customers.
I also have a hard time believing it is legal for any company to take a person's money and then fail to deliver on the purchased product. If they are worried about people making false claims and ripping off the company, it shouldn't be that difficult for Playdom to confirm that BPs or outfits are missing from an account and to match that to the product purchasing action (besides the fact that the lousy customer service makes it totally NOT worth the effort to try and get missing items unless you really ARE missing said items.) Furthermore, in the case of virtual rewards, it costs the company nothing to "reissue" the missing merchandise. Keeping customers happy and at the very least giving them the product they purchased seem like no-brainer rules of conduct for any company. In the case of a physical product often times there may be issues of the item being physically lost in transit, in which case consumers can take actions like filing claims with the transit carrier or even revoking the purchase through their credit card company if need be. For cases like this it really does cost the company to reship the item to replace the lost product and keep the customer happy...still in every case I've encountered a problem, I've never had trouble with the company balking at doing whatever it takes to make things right. I really can't see any excuse for this blanket "no refunds or replacement on missing virtual items due to game error" policy that Playdom seems to hide behind. As long as that sort of policy stands here I will never ever initiate any Playdom virtual currency purchases within any of their games...
My own personal experience has been relatively minor, but in the Garden of Time Playdom game (we should be able to discuss this here I think, it's not a competitors' game) I purchased BP equivalent gold through a trial pay offer in order to 'buy' one of the special scene/story line things. I lost the ability to view the extra story line due to game error, it's a "known issue" that the scenes get stuck loading and when this happens during the initial story sequence you never get it back. Well I sent in a ticket weeks ago and never even got a response. Not even the canned "we won't do anything you're SOL" bull pucky response. Anyone want to guess whether or not I'll ever purchase one of the extra pay only story line scenes again? You say "no", haha, you must be psychic! So way to go Playdom, if you care, you're not only alienating current paying customers but also eliminating the possibility of non-paying customers from ever transitioning to future paying customers.

I am currently having 2 issues with my sorority life app. #1 I have not been able to start competitions in the Intramurals. I read the blogs and no help. I made sure as to not enter ANY competitions for almost 2 days and nothing has changed. Where it would normally say "Start A Competition" in the right hand corner it doesn't. It says "You have already started a Competition that is still active!" in grey and white. When I click on it nothing happens. Nothing. HELP! #2 I have not received the above mentioned achievement. It is pretty obvious that I have completed this task because I am using the account to contact right now. Help!

I am confused as to why Brian checked this request as solved. None of the issues that I contacted you about are resolved. Referring me to a forum that doesn't HELP me do anything does not resolve or SOLVE my issue. I STILL can not start competitions in the Intramurals and I STILL don't have my achievement for completing playdom registration. The link that you gave me does not lead to information to help me. I read it before I contacted you and it DID NOT HELP. Why would you refer me to it again when I already mentioned that it didn't help. If it had then this ticket would have been unnecessary. Do I have to copy and paste it again?...okay here it goes. I am currently having 2 issues with my sorority life app. #1 I have not been able to start competitions in the Intramurals. Ummm so now they are directing people to the discussion forum where one of the first things any mod, PCM or Admin will tell you there is nothing they can do to help? They're just here to babysit the forum?

It's obvious this guy didn't even bother to read your initial support ticket (and they usually don't you get nonsense back) but I've never seen them direct people to the forum before with issues that require technical assistance.
You may want to PM Whitney or El Guapo with this to ask if their job titles and or roles have changed to include assisting with technical issues on the forums.
BUT also keep on the Support team. This is probably why they are backed up, giving stupid responses and not solving anything only leading to more tickets being filed. Read the Announcement at the top of the forum for more information.

i know how everybody feels. i have spent alot of freaking money on this stupid game and get the same freaking answers that everyone else gets. needless to say that THE POWERS THAT BE are NO LONGER getting my freaking money. i will never spend money on these games. i think im to the point that i just dont want to play it anymore. thats why i left myspace and came to facebook because it was so much better but it is the same now. so facebook and just kiss my rear end too.
