Little green frog?

I'm on the quest that said to search for the little green frog. About 3 machetes in a fishing pond with a green frog showed up, but didn't complete the quest. I've used 12 more machetes since finding the fishing pond and haven't found anything else.

Was the fishing pond supposed to be what I was looking for and the game is just glitching, or am I looking for something else? I find it highly coincidental that a pond with a frog showed up right after getting the quest, but it wasn't FOR the quest, you know?

And if it is just glitching, I'm quite peeved about the 12 wasted machetes that I used, because I spent gold on most of them.

Same here! Used up tons of machetes looking for the frog, found the pond. Was that the quest? Is there another frog in a cage? I dunno! But I've cut down a lot of forest for it. And spent all my gold.

Same here. Except I found the pond well before I received the quest to find a frog. So it never occurred to me that maybe the pond was supposed to satisfy the quest. Is there a moderator here that answers questions?

I'm also wondering what item satisfies the 'Lost Art' quest. I have an arch, so maybe that's it? All I know is I have had the Lost Art quest and the 'Green Frog' quest for a couple of days now. I've used probably close to 20 machetes and the quests are still there.

Quests not crediting correctly is listed there. You might want to check it out and bookmark it for future reference. I believe they'll be keeping it updated.

Left the game for 3 days hoping they would fix this, but no. When I came back I had a new quest that involves the pond, but the quest to find the frog is still there, still waiting. I'm not enjoying this.

They are still fixing it I guess, it's not easy to fix you know. :(

The lost art is a sign ...... its at the back of the town near where you find the mouse in a cage ... I left it in the place I found it if you want to check it out.
