Don't worry!! There is no need to panic or freak out that someone is spreading "your" link on the forums when you happen to click one that takes you to your own profile on Facebook.

When a link is improperly pasted into the add-me thread, and Facebook does not recognize the profile that was supposed to be linked, it will automatically redirect you to your own profile.

This is not a case of someone "stealing" your information, or invading your privacy, or anything of the sort.

Profile URLs are structured in one of two ways:
Regular Profile URLs - http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=#########
Custom URLs - http://www.facebook.com/CustomProfileNameHere

If you are clicking on a link that does NOT match either of the structures above, you're probably going to get redirected back to your own profile (or your home page). (In some cases, people paste the URL for the app by accident, which would obviously take you to the app instead.)

You do not need to report these posts. They will get cleaned up over the natural course of moderation. There is no need to worry about them as anyone who clicks on the bad link will get directed to their own profiles, NOT yours.

For informational purposes:
The proper way to retrieve your profile link is to click on the "Profile" button in the upper-right of Facebook when you are logged in. THEN you retrieve the URL from your browser and paste it here.

Pasting any other link is not going to direct anyone to you, as they will take people to their own profiles, their own home pages, and so on. Obviously, this won't get you any friend requests as nobody will be able to find you without a proper link!
