I just noticed this, too, when I upgraded to 27x27, thinking that was the end. I wonder how far up they have extended things? I hope they go to at least 30x30, but then 40x40 wouldn't be bad. :-)

I know in CoW when we got the 32x32 we were told that was definitely "it". I do not know the scale difference between the 2 (or if that even matters since it is really about the items filling it).

IS that the requirement for 29x29? Or is there a pattern to neighbors? I always had enough so never saw the increments. I have 101 so I think I am good, lol.

Barely, lol. I just bought 10 Victorian Manors, 5 Classic Manors, 2 Chinese Acrobats and one more of each of the Triumph items....

Sadly I only had a little under 2 mill so me and the mummies had to have a sit down family meeting to decide if we could swing the cost. A couple of the more responsible mummies said they would look into part time jobs doing mandarin duck pest control so we decided to go for it. It's going to be rough but I think we'll make it ;-)

Haha...To everything!

So far only the one expansion but hopefully more to come. I didn't even count how many new Victorians I bought! I just kept clicking! lol
I already doubled up on the Triumph parade stuff.

I did buy 2 acrobats and I want to qualify for one of those surveys to get enough gold for the kites. I hope they don't come out with something cuter tho right after I buy it...maybe I'll wait.

Yay!!!

I'll echo Lisa's sentiment - Haha - to everything! You guys are funny.

I thought it was odd that some of my neighbors looked like they had just expanded who I knew were already maxed out. Just didn't get so far as to check out the expansions, yet. But I'm still not caught up on putting my garden back together, yet. It's pretty pitiful looking now. But that expansion is still exciting! I don't have as many coins as the rest of you, I'm not even to half a mil, yet, but still very affordable :)

OK>>>someone let me know if I am missing out on a GRID EXPASION!

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. You said you've expanded to the max. There is a new expansion available now...28X28. You need 60,000 silver to buy it.

Back in the beginning of this game I think you needed 2 new neighbours for every level you opened. It was confusing because it said you need 25 new neighbours, then for the next level it said you need 27 new neighbours, etc. It looked as if you needed 25 + 27 = 52, etc. but it turned out to be just +2 each time. I have 75 new neighbours now so I don't keep an eye on it any more.

I have also just bought 10 Victorian Manors and 10 Classic Victorians, to go with the 20 Fine Victorians. They're all built and in storage now, ready to be pulled out and replace pathways for Chapter 11. Thankyou again for that great tip! :) I love that these buildings are all high in rep and single square. It makes life so easy when building them or removing them from the garden. :) I also bought 4 Chinese Acrobats and a couple of Chinese Kites. I only buy the things I really like with gold but they have us over a barrel because if you don't buy it quickly, then it's gone!

Now I'm looking forward to a lovely weekend of tea, biccies and gardening! :D

I love it when people at work on Monday ask how your weekend went and you tell them you spent it in the garden! They think you're so hard-working and creative! hehehe
If they knew I was really sat on my comfortably cushioned derriere they'd be a LOT less impressed. It makes me chuckle. (I know, I'm such a muppet. Lol!)

Sadly, I do need to spend the weekend in my actual garden. It's become overrun with weeds while I've been playing with a fake, electron garden.

PS: I hatehatehate Canadian thistle.

I am closing in on 3 million and wonder what to DO with all these silver coins...there is nothing left to purchase, and anything that IS "expensive" really won't make the tiniest dent in the overall multitude of wealth (wish this was the case in my real life...lol)...anyway...why don't they provide us something REEEEAALLY WONDERFUL that we can strive for and keep playing for. Perhaps something along the lines of a Wonder...but rather than earn it, we must pay for it...but with LOTS of silver rather than gold...or allow a garden expansion for, say, a Million bucks...I'd pay it. Ok devs...let's see what you can come up with!

I contemplated buying as many tuileries wings as 3 million could buy me - it was quite a bit, lol. That way I'd be set for the next several chapters - if not more :)

But I would have a garden, because after the 4 hours it takes to build, I would store them til needed. I have kept my garden a garden :)

I have 168 tuileries wings in the back of my garden. I can live with them because I've decided they are hotels for all the visitors.

And the houses belong to the gardeners.

I love your ideas! They should just give up on the gold items all together tho and offer them for silver...or have the option of using a ton of silver in place of the gold.

Welcome to the forum! Some take it easy and wait for the new scenes that tend to show up every 2-3 weeks. Others (like me) try to get the high scores or at least beat our old best score in older scenes for competition or just to keep increasing xp points and gain coins. I also play with new ideas for my garden. I don't play as much but I still find enough to do. Hopefully you'll find what works best for you to keep entertained :-)

This gardens of Times expansion is like cocaine; there is never enough. When I saw that I could expand, I pulled all the buildings I could out of storage. I was thinking, If I just had one more expansion of 29x29, I could ring buildings around my garden. Lets not forget this is for fun.

Eeeeep! and Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I was just in the throes of remodelling my garden, when I thought "I'll just pop over to the forum and check out that thread where it tells you what artefacts go where".

Thank goodness I did - and saw this thread before I went all in and moved and planned and created . . . . . I would have been so cross if I'd completed remodelling before coming over!

And yes - a MASSIVE thank you to the developers for making it possible to have more space.

I do try and avoid my neighbours gardens who are at level 30 or over, because they do seem to be very boring gardens. Just packed full of repetitions of the high rep stuff. so rows and rows of vineyards, and aquaducts etc. I was getting quite disheartened, thinking I'd have to have a boring old garden.

But now . . . . . . well I'm off to play!!
