Just wanted to talk about an interesting topic

so what's your view on racism..lol I'm not pointing any fingers here on the forum but some remarks are made about racism..apparently even immature adults-.- how embarrassing ..well for them.. so give me your opinion..by the way..i got snapshots of the racism that i'm not releasing..but is it reportable?so what's your view on racism? just curious. sorry to mods if this is not allowed. It is an assignment for my school club so we'd like to take a look on other's view on this topic.

ok..freedom of speech is allowed as it is so stated..no matter what race..say if I'm going to speak spanish if I choose to, than I can.I was just stating that because someone speaks another language then what is wrong with that? Is it a crime to speak another language besides the ever so popular english? Is it my fault that someone needs to use a translator to understand what I am saying? And let alone adults and children. I never say anything offensive while I speak spanish..but oh when someone thinks that the other person doesn't understand them..they get to say racist remarks as they please..what are you going to tell us? learn darn english? right..and I'm going to say learn darn spanish or better yet learn some other language while you're at it? I just don't see what is wrong with being a different race..but I guess it's just how people are raised nowadays. I respect any ADULT or child if they say something offensive but if it crosses the line like saying.."dumb mexican or dark "this" OR the ever popular "cross the border back where you came from" then hahaha WE HAVE A PROBLEM.. Firstly, If it can be another person not necessarily from mexico..it could be somebody from spain or latin america beyond, and when I say this I speak for every other race that's been discriminated on. But hey it's how you're raised obviously..not anyone's fault. But lastly,don't discriminate on me and I won't discriminate on you. WE ARE ALL HUMAN. thank you..I go strong when it comes to racism..hopefully someone agrees with me that racism gets us no where..but whatever I'm not going to be begging if anyone is going to be ignorant to process and understand. Thank you for that, i agree completely. Americans always think that English is the only "real" language, or say "Go learn English" to other speakers. Well, they dont understand that all over the world, most people know a least 2 languages. I try, im learning French and learned Latin. I mean, take Luxembourg. Kids there need to speak Luxembourgian, German, and French fluently to go through school. Plus, most of them learn an extra language or two as well.

Racism is not funny, and it's not witty or clever. Often people don't actually mean to be racist, they honestly think they're being funny.
Not long ago someone was being horrible about Mexicans - if I started being horrible about Americans, and generalising them, and generally demoralising them, he would have kicked off...however he seemed to think it was okay to be horrible about Mexicans because they "don't speak English"...pathetic, and disgusting. Oh, and he had never met a Mexican...!

(p.s I'm not digging at Americans, he just happened to be American and I was using it as an example xD)
