View Full Version : "Kick" Votes!

Sure, we all know that there's no way to have enough people to act as moderators to live tables. The numbers are ridiculously high to even consider it.

In the casinos there are Pit Bosses to keep an eye on things and make sure that things run smoothly (among other things).

If there were a voting system to "kick" a player from the table, much fewer troublemakers would be able to stay long enough to really effect anyone.

That behavior isn't tolerated in the casinos and it shouldn't be tolerated here.
(Can you say kneecapped?!?!?)

Kicking from table not good.Players who lose a lot could dump one for that reason or whatever.

More fair way is player has thumbs down icon and if enough clicks to that account muted.

I actaully agree with Jammerz. There are ways around being able to just kick anyone from a table.. Programs can be wrote up that if someone is going all in more then twise in a row it opens a window to allow them to be kicked. If that person isn't raising preflop then it can't kick em. The saying goes, when there is a will, there is a way, but without someone actually doing something about it, then well, you get to play with people that just don't care about the game.

All fine, but what if, like me you play a lot...and win, not like me. you can fall victim to others voting to kick you out just cuz they lost to you and what stops the idiots from voting others out who dont deserve it, after all ive been in rooms where there were 5-6 all iners

Hack makes a valid point. There would need to be some parameters if this feature is to be implemented. Keep the convo going! :)

If there are 5 or 6 all iners, do you really want to be at that table for long?

I play a couple of million hands per year, seriously, between Foxwoods (2 hr drive) and various on-line poker sites.

If the votes needed to be unanimous and not majority, that could make the difference. There's usually at least one other "decent" player at the tables.

But, as I've said in other threads, let's fix what isn't working first, then move on to any "new" stuff. It won't make a difference if there's only glitchers and cheaters at the tables.
