Question, why are there Crystal challenges still on the side panel?

I was wondering why 3 of the 4 time crystal challenges have not left the side panel of the game yet?

The Garden of Tin
The Creation of Adam
&
The A friend in need, are all still there.
Why?

I understand the Cinderella challenge being there since that just started, but it seems as if them 3 other crystal challenges have been there for months now. I do not want to play them, how do I get them off my screen so I can see the challenges I want to do?

I don't suppose any of us know - answers deep in the psyche of the devs, not available to mere players. However, I'd guess: those crystal chapters have been extended indefinitely, so if you started them they'll hang around. You should b able to see other quests though: check for a little arrow above and below the quests you can see, and you should find up to 10.

Thanks, I did not know what that was. Found two more quests that I hadn't completed.

Try clicking on the quest. If it is from an expired crystal chapter, it should go away once you open it.

Playdom removed the 'expiration date' for the Parisian Crystal chapters, so until (or unless?) one has completed the entire chapter(s) and all quests, they will remain.

The thing that means to *me* is that unless (or until?) Playdom does "expire" them, there should be NO 'cut off' for crystals once any other chapter is completed, since the un-expiry-date ones are still 'lurking'. Hope that's so...

If someone hasn't finished the final Parisian Chapter (I did forget about those not expiring), then leaving a building incomplete should keep crystal requests open until someone hits the crystal collecting ceiling during a given time period.

I wonder how the Medieval Tower restoration will affect Crystal requests in the future.

I agree! They put a time limit on the crystals quests, don't allow any gathering of crystals and then still expect upgrades to the crystal decorations...get rid!

My problem is that quests appear and if I don't write them down and note what I need to do, I miss them, because the Quests area on the left is Too Full Of Crystal Chapters that I Am Not Going To Do!!!! So when a quest Finally shows up again, I'm that much further behind (having to wait an additional 2 days) in completing them. FRUSTRATING!!!!!!

I maintain a list of the quests, both standard and crystal, in a spreadsheet that you can access by clicking on the link that's in my signature Garden Quests
I put in there all the buildings you're going to need, and how long they take to build, so that you can have them standing by when the actual quest comes along.

Also, it's not immediately obvious, but there are arrows above and below the line of quest icons, which allow you to see up to ten quests at a time - you've probably found them already.

Hi, unilady. The quest bar holds up to 10 quests now. If you click on the gold arrow below the bottom quest, you can scroll down to see more quests.
