Hi Sisters
Many of you probably don't know me. I am the forum admin taking over El Guapo's role while he is away for a few weeks. I try to peek into all communities but do most of my work behind the scenes.
I have been listening to the SL community for a few weeks now and wanted to apologize for not putting up this message sooner. I understand how frustrated it may feel to think you are being unheard. But rest assured, you were never unheard.
Aubrey has had to step back from her role as SL community manager for a bit. A number of different projects and personal issues came up that demanded more of her time than what she was able to give. She tried to do as much as she could but realized she wasn't giving you the attention and dedication you needed. She will still make as much effort as humanly possible to be your liaison with Playdom but specific things such as Answers with Aubrey will not be updated frequently for the time being.
This is not a permanent situation. Once Aubrey's issues/projects have become more settled she will be back with all the news, updates, and answers to questions you have. In the meantime, I know it's hard to keep the frustration down but I've seen a number of personal attacks against her and it's rough. You are allowed to be critical on the forums, Playdom accepts and welcomes these criticisms, but when you specifically attack one person, that is starting to cross the line. Please keep this in mind.
I apologize for being vague as to what Aubrey's situation is. It's nothing bad, very much the opposite :) But it's her fun thing to talk about if she wishes to! I don't want to steal her thunder!
