Why is this?

I know I am new here and am only on chapter 11 or 12, but I have noticed this since I started playing.

Last night before bed, I wanted to get a head start on finishing the chapter quest of 18 stars. Said to me self, in the morning I'll have all 60 energy and should be able to finish the one scene and be able to start another scene, since I was more then half way through with the 5th stars, in scene 3. But that didn't happen. It not only took my 6 tries, I also had to go and use more energy and it took 2 more tries after that.

How in the world could it take 8 tries to finish an already half completed scene???? I only needed a little over 300,000 points to get the whole star. Even if you do the worst of the worst in the first scene, you're rewarded with the full star. I know it is supposed to be harder as you go on, but this is constant. I'll be half way done the scene, but have to go through a ton of energy to finish the last star.

With all the glitches and slow game play, & having to keep leaving the chapter quests to re-energize, it tiresome, at the least. :(

Each star takes a lot more than the first one in each scene. By the time you get to the 4th star on a scene, it can take a lot of energy to finish it.

Each star takes so much energy....you need to add in your head the amount of points you make at each game play, then you will know how much more you have to do, Plus there is the random Glitch where you might not get credited as much as you should.....If you are keeping track and notice that then submit a ticket for Playdom to look into it.

Thank you CraftingBug, I know, understand and agree with getting the last star usually taking 8 to 9 tries, but for the one I am talking about it took 14 tries. The first 6 I did the night before, then 8 in the morning. I'll watch for this again, if it does happen, I will follow your advice and contact support. :)

It's not about the number of attempts, it's about how many points you score. Before you click to play a scene, look at the green bar under the scene thumbnail. It's written there how many points you need for the next star. Don't bother contacting support because it working the way it should. Just pay more attention to the score numbers, instead of the number of attempts.
