Expired quests

My 4th of July quests are still showing in my quest list, and they are also still updating. There is no way that I can see to delete expired quests, or am I doing something wrong? Anyone know if we can still get rewards for expired quests??? Just wondering....

You can't delete your quests if you haven't finished them yet. Have you finished your quest?

My question about expired quests is different. I'd like to know why there are so many quests, that the first time I see them, it is to tell me they have expired? What the heck is with that? How can anyone hope to do a quest when the first notice is that it's expired?

So, shall I assume no one has an answer to that? How about this one. When a quest ends up that the only way we can finish it, (for me currently, it is the olympic thing) is buy using gold, we should be able to stash it. It's ugly, I didn't really want it anyway and I'm definitely not going to use gold to get something I don't want. But I'm also tired of the construction taking up space. I thought it was claimed somewhere, these games will not try to "force" you to use gold or spend real money.

I'm not sure why your page is loading outdated quests (I"m guessing the Patriotic quest and the Moon Festival quest.) My guess is that you joined or reached the required level for these quests after they expired and the devs need to be alerted to this problem. Please file a ticket so they can investigate. I don't know what quests you have that require that you spend gold to complete, I haven't come across any that require gold when I've been playing. Is the "use gold" or "buy" button beneath an item that can be crafted elsewhere in the game? If a necessary ingredient can be crafted, you'll sometimes get a "buy' button below it in the crafting menu or quest dialog box. I don't remember an Olympic thing in Ghosts of Mistwood. Portals to off-estate quests can be moved, but not stored or sold.

Thanks for the reply. There have been so many of them, I could not begin to tell you the names of them. However, what you say about level vs expired makes sense but only if it is a glitch. I can get several of them, at various times, yet while I'm still at a certain level. If they are expired, then they should just not show up at all. It's not a major hassle as I just click them away. It's only a minor annoyment. AS for the have to use gold issue, I'm referring to the olympic thing. I did not get enough medals to complete it so now it's taking up space in my garden as an under construction item and the only way I see to finish it is to buy the needed medals. I won't do that. If I wanted to spend gold on something, it would not be on this particular item. I think it's unattractive, doesn't go with anything I want in my garden and I'd just like to be able to store it and get it off the page. There is another thread about this somewhere, several folks asking to just be able to delete an unfinished item like that but don't know if it's going to be solved or not. Thanks again.

this forum is only for Ghosts of Mistwood questions and I don't remember an Olympic item or gold medals being a part of the Ghosts of Mistwood game at all.
