darn the new pvp bonus ...

Ever since they introduced the new pvp bonus system my rating has dropped significantly and my win% went down to 79% from 87% :.(

Everyone I've fought has so many scrapers and had their accuracy bonus went to over 180 while mine is somewhere 64....I only have a handful of heroes so my bonus is weak, I've tried not to duel but it dueled automatically over the night and my rating went down like crazy by itself >_<

I'm on the other side of that.... went from 1200 to mid 1600 almost over night. Sorry it sucks for you, but happy it's working for me.:cool:

I suggest you grab some overalls and eat your wheaties to go farm Command Pts and level your heroes up. I had to adapt real quick which turned my 1100 rating into 1400.

meh... I just equip my batstone and use critical intel... farming items.on PvP.

What does high ratings give anyway? Future gifts and equipment and hero that's not there yet?

Good for you if you like it, but with all the hacked items out there and the AI being abysmally bad, any real competitive Player versus PLAYER is pretty non-existent. If it at least had some sort of tangible (even just cosmetic) reward, then maybe there could be a point to it even if it was just vs the crappy AI. But even then, they need to remove the people with unavailable ISOs and weapons, giving their characters ridiculous stats. (80k Pvp bonus? Really??)

My rating rocketed up over 500 points since the PvP change over. I had all characters at level 8+ I've been steamrolling over even the obvious illegally high bonus players because most of them havent had many characters in their roster. I've even woken up with a winning score now. I still only play when I've empty on energy and bored. But its nice to win a little bit more often now.

The revamped PvP system has made it a viable part of the game for me again. I'm still massively outgunned by the gold buyers, but I'm not getting 1-hit killed by CR and the SBP is no longer overpowered in PvP. I'm a big fan of the change.

Of course, now that these more serious issues have been addressed that Avengers suit advantage is looking unhealthy again.

Yeah...for bragging..you're right...

Especially if you can climb to the top in pvp without cheating and you beat all of the hackers to their death. It is also a way to show other people how you can beat them with your specialized team with different strategies...

I didn't climb all the way to the top. Hovering at mainly 1640 there abouts. But I am proud of the fact that I climbed up so high without hacking, plus I wasn't using the usual suspect heroes: No Captain America, No Thor, No Hulk, No Spidey, No Warmachine. :)

i really like the new PvP cz at least the dirty players no longer have the total upperhand when it comes to winning.
and also those ignore defence items are no longer a big threat.
i faced few opponents using coulson, it hits less than 1k. the same goes to SBP.

i don't really see the point where you should be mad because if your rating drops, just change your strategy. it's just that simple.

my MB+kitty team hits like a maniac with this change. i often see kitty OHKO anyone with full health with only momgen and critical intel active

I have seen some improvements in the AI and now I actually see my team winning with the AI playing, even with my high bonus before anyone could beat me even those that are at least 25K below me. The fights are just a bit, a bit more changeling to play but I still win 99% of the time. I've also seen more combos now then I did before. Overall I think it is better than what it was before but I do hate the lock over the other weapon slots when looking at the profile.

I think PVP bonuses from items now worth nothing.... a low rated players with no items but a lot of Heroes is more powerfull than a higher players woth high pvp bonuses from items... since the new pvp heroes bonuses i was 2k+ health drop to 1700health :(

i'm at 10k+ both att and def and a low rated players with 2k- pvp bonuses from items but got full heroes has more heallth and att in game than me...

SBP and CR no longer OP thats good and i dont mind ignore defense changed (which make my .50 anti material rather useless) but hero bonus? sucks! when the first time new PvP system implemented i was like "damn, i only have few heroes recruited and most of them are low leveled". Yeah sure, lucky for someone who already have recruited many heroes and leveled them up high enough because they will grant massive PvP bonus for sure.

Correct me if im wrong, devs didnt give us a warning or news about new PvP system right? IMO, a news, warning or hint would be nice before changing anything related to gameplay so player will have preparation to do.

Anyway, i quit PvP atm. Thanks to new PvP system i need lot of silvers and CP! :mad:

there's a huge difference when you interpret my line without that word TOTAL. It sounds as if i confidently claimed that these "special people" have no chance at winning at all. Next time, read it properly:)

the dirty players can beat everyone even if they use Thing and Nightcrawler and no PvP bonus.

They'll lost on the retaliation but they can pretty much have 100% win rate on their turn.

I'm just keeping myself around 800-1k in order to battle with rating 500-600 people.

and yes, for me PVP is about farming supplies, so hits and crits are neccessary, not winning ;) but of course sometimes we still have to do serious battle.

Actually, IMO hackers have a MUCH bigger advantage now than they did before.

The PvP bonus not only provides more criticals and extra damage and more coordinated attacks as it always has, but it also now provides actual in-battle stat boosts!

If you add up their PvP hero bonus, and their base hero stats, it doesn't add up.
I have more attack than most of my opponents, but when a hacker has 20,000+ PvP bonus, their battle stats go through the roof, eve when I have higher PvP hero bonuses than them.

It's the least-known change to the PvP system out there. I would create a thread and show, with screenshots, but what's the point?
They're going to change the PVP system sometime down the line anyway, so I'll just avoid PvP till then - upper-level PvP is taken over by hackers anyway.
