which of the 2 above items should i get

bcuz the thing is im a student so i dont have money to buy gold, so i have 44 gold now, bcuz i bough the trnchcoat

so i have 44 gold left, and quantum jimper costs 36 gold, and chrono costs 20, but obviously they have different functions

any suggestions which are the best to get?

Depends on how you are gonna play the game?

1hit-1kill? = Chrono Overdrive
Never let the opponent have a turn with 3 heroes still standin? = Quantum Jumper

The price does not signify value (directly). Although Quantum may have more uses than Chrono, it depends on what you are to do, or your "gameplan".

I think the answer here comes down to one simple question: Who is the main damage dealer in your lineup? If it's your agent, I like CO better because it doubles his attack and usually puts someone away. If your agent is a support type, get the QJ to allow your heroes to do the extra damage. Personally, I have both, but never use the QJ anymore.

my hero isnt too strong or too weak, cuz im lvl 85

and unfortunately my best weapon is probly frank castle special, but i also have cosmic ray gun thing from chapter 7.6

i was thinking if i sud wait if soem better item for gold comes out or wud these be worth it?

bcuz as i said i am not able to buy gold, and also ive noticed wen new weapons come out they usually cost like 65 gold, and i wont ever have enuf for them anyway

If your agent has high damage dealing weapons, then you should choose Chrono Overdrive. However, if he/she is just a support character for your team then you should go for Quantum Jumper. Personally, I would choose Quantum Jumper.

wow how many people have asked about these two weapons? maybe should be sticky

Anyways it gives you an extra turn but you have to use an initial turn to operate the quantum jumper netting you nothing but it does reverse the character orders so if you went last it's your turn immediately if you went first you go after everybody "new" turn and then they go again. This can be important for timing buffs. and shield guard. and debuffs. and planning perfect strategy

QJ gives your whole team an extra turn as soon as you use it. It is an extremely useful item. I actually use two of them plus two other support items and my agent doesn't even carry any weapons. I just give my team extra turns up the gazoo and watch them devastate the enemies while I make them untouchable with Digital Decoy and Construct Matrix.

Besides the extra turns (which are phenomenal), the best thing about QJ is that it doesn't count the free turns when distributing damage over time effects like burning/bleed/poison and it allows you to keep buffs for a turn longer (like Black Cat's "Stroke of Luck" power, among others) in many cases since the free turns don't really count as full turns.

On the downside, certain abilities that give free turns don't function right if used in the same turn as QJ. For example, if a Tactician attacks a blaster with their first turn (thereby getting the bonus turn that the class gives), they won't get a second bonus turn if they attack with the extra turn granted by the QJ. Basically, they will only have 3 turns instead of the 4 turns you'd expect. Not world-ending, but it's a tiny drawback. The same goes for Ms. Marvel and her level 2 power. If you use it (it gives you a free turn after your NEXT turn) and then use the QJ in the same turn as the one she is supposed to get the free turn during, it will basically "eat" that free turn and only give her the one the QJ is granting (so she should technically get 3 turns back to back, but will still only get the 2). So those are the only flaws with the item.

i like both, but i use chrono a little more. qj works well in pvp but uses up too much stamina in waved pve fights.

Wait a second isn't this essentially the same thing, either way u go the opponent still has one of his heroes knocked out...

I prefer to look at the con's

CO = if it misses you just wasted a turn, and your strongest weapon is probably on cooldown, if it's not on cd (your doing it wrong lol)

QJ = time for some DFC/ToolBox action, Heroes attack and can buff up a bit more? (yes please).

However I think I win more with CO while I'm away, while QJ makes setting up triple overkills a lot easier when I'm controlling my heroes.

If you have to choose one, QJ then imo.

It gives everyone on your team a second move, but the Quantum Jumper itself is NOT a Quick Action, so your Agent ends up with only one move per round.

since you are lv85 and short of gold, you should just research for Sudden Support, which is nearly as good as CO (only drawback: can't be used the very first turn) and save your gold for QJ or something else.

Sorry for the confusion and lack of elaboration. What I meant was CO provides a 1hit-1kill (consuming just the agent's turn, and, depending on the agent, a kill; giving opportunity for others to attack other enemies) whereas QJ provides a whole turn for the team enabling everyone to attack and take down at least 1 target before the enemy turn.

I agree with you, although CO seems cheesier in nature, QJ is far more versatile. Not everyone can be killed with a single hit (Spidey, Cap, Colossus, etc.)

ok i have some questions......I just bought CO and i have it paired with the EMP blaster. I am LESS than impressed with the stated double damage. I used CO with it and got a whopping "300 points of damage" what a waste of gold. Am I using the wrong weapon or something?

Try to use it with coulson's revenge, GSE. EMP blaster is only good in the early levels

depends on ur lvl, if u are at 80- I think eradicator is doing better them SPB.......but honestly the top ingame wep atm for ppl lvl 90- must be handheld hohlraum.....huge dmg and it's Aoe

Everyone on the team gets 2 turns, and not necessarily in sequential order. But the Agent will always have his second turn right after using the QJ.

Your heroes will still have 2 turns that round. No need for you to do anything else besides use the QJ.

AGREED!!!! I just got done messin with it and it is nice. Pair it with the XPloiter & CO and its lovely to say the least. Now if I can just find a good weapon its on.

if you can't afford both, go for QUANTUM JUMPER it has more uses than CO, it can also be useful in leveling up your weaker heroes in PvE

I use Attenuator, though it seems the stun rate was lowered... still nice damage and chance to stun (all 3 actually).

Whoa whoa whoa seriously? I have slotted at least two of these items into the pvp bonus page. Could you please explain how it is so amazing? When I tested it I never even got the chance to use it, Is it just me or did anyone realize the weapon started with a 3 round cooldown? And it hits everyone which could possibly kamikaze your own team? Can you tell me an example/situation you have tested/seen this item crush an opponent?

How comparable is SS to CO in terms of damage output, say for example using the PEW Eradicator or equivalent weapon, noncritical damage?

SBP Ch5.6, TQ5000 Ch7 Mastery, GSE Ch3 Mastery, Coulson's Revenge (but buying is closed for now), ToolBox Spec Ops M1 Epic Boss, P.E.W. Eradicator lvl 74 Research, P.E.W. Attenuator lvl 78 Research, just off the top of my head for weapons that may be a suitable match for CO, in no specific order...

Thanks for the info. Looks like my best next bet is the GSE. Im finishing up 5 staring that chapter now. The Golden Needle Gun is serviceable for right now, but definately want something better.

Ok, just got the GSE & it has some awesome power, however it does miss alot, darn near 50% of the shots get dodged. So I purchased the .50 Rifle that has 100% guarantee on hit rate with 2 round cool down. I got the GSE to use while the .50 is cooling down. Awesome damage when it hits.

Indeed, My current set up is TB, QJ, DD(Digital Decoy), and GG(Goblin Glider). The GG is nice but the time i spent farming it nearly sent me on the brink of insanity. I've tried CO and QJ combos, with CR and another hard hitting weapon, and though I can normally take out one or two opponents with that set up, I believe the A.I. controlling my Agent cannot nor will not use any set up I use as intended. I.E. when i lose to a 900 rated individual and easily smoke his whole team when I'm behind the wheel. The audacity....

QJ first, CO later.. U can do many things on one free turn for each of r char meaning more flexibility. CO is purely about damage..

i got the tyrant blade today after alot of research, and i think its one of the best weapons in this game tht u can buy using silver

on average it does 1200 dmg (im lvl 92) and it also has a chance to attack a second time
