Though my knowledge of all of them is limited.

Counterattack weapons have their damage reduced innately, and if they apply status effects it's going to be even worse.
the above two you can atleast get to be around your level in strength. Everything else will become useless as time goes on.

and saber claws...not for the damage but for the 2x bleed ,i use them cause i like black panther

Don't kill yourself getting them. They are good only first 30 levels or so. After that, they just don't do enough damage to matter taking up a precious slot for them. Cyro tonfa and pyro tonfa can be researched, and once you can get laser sword from research, get it and love it.

si pdw is a great counter weapon and im still using sabertooth claws at lv77 the tonfas are just innately weak so you gotta be a higher level before the gold tonfa is useful

Crowbar's the best. Lovin' mine.

I'm not crazy about the golden tonfa, I prefer the flaming one, or something with a dot.

Grecia Sai is pretty good too, you can stack 5 bleeds.

If you equip 2, you sometimes can get a double counter attack.

Im at level 100 and the damage stated on my golden tonfa is only a miserable 300+. Not worth a slot in the equipment, really..

Back in the early levels I slotted both CryoTonfa and PyroTonfa as well as a third item for support. It made for some decent counter-attack goodness because if an enemy so much as came near me with a single-character attack they were getting smacked back at least once, usually twice, and typicaly for a bit of bonus damage due to the one exploting the condition the other would lay on the enemy. I didn't do a huge amount of damage with any single hit when it came to my turn to attack, but the DOTs made up for it.

Then I got a Pincer and a laser sword and haven't looked back since. :D

The Tonfas were nice for the lower levels, but once you outgrow them you should just leave them in the footlocker because they're not worth it.

I go with Saberclaws. I wish there was an all enemies counter attack weapon, something to offset the deep field cannon.

You don't put on counter weapons for damage, you equip them for status effects...

If you want to do DAMAGE, try using a counterstrike on your agent. Brawl does way more than those weapons. AND momentum generator turns him downright deadly!

its called "si pdw 11" counterattacks all enemies usually around 300 for me which is pretty good at my level (77) for a multi attack counter

and the gracian sai is only good til you get the saberclaws to replace them.
as far as counters go i currently have the saberclaws and si pdw 11 equipped tho the saber claws are more there for the 2xbleed but the counter is a nice plus

Gotta disagree with ya big time there. I'm at level 122 and getting a counter-attack set up for Mockingbird is pure amazing.

Yeah, SI PDW 11. It procs at a good rate and hits everyone 4 times. It's a must-have for CP farming.
I wouldn't bother with any other counterattacker except the crowbar. I've seen Sabretooth's claws a few times and I just don't think they're special.

I agree with Saberclaws and SI PDW 11, and the crowbar, although I cannot get it!

But no one is mentioning the Quickdraw 40 which, if you use a hero that inflicts weakness like Black Widow, has an exploit weakness side benefit. I like it much better than the Tonfas.

It's a good strategy to always have a counter-attack weapon equipped just in case. Sometimes my Gold Tonfa counters EVERY attack in one battle. It's crazy!

Downside of Quickdraw is that it costs Gold. Considered getting it at one time, but decided against it when my level outgrew most of the counterattack weapons.

Best all-purpose counterattack weapons right now has to be Enchanted Crowbar. Decent damage (depending on your level), and good debuffs.

Niche purpose: Saberclaws for Bleed team builds, SI PDW 11 for farming.

Golden tonfa, and its power increase alongside your level, doesn't give a big damage though.

I used the Golden Tonfa until I snagged the Enchanted Crowbar. It works wonders.

Back in my early levels, I utilized the Pyro-Tonfa/Cryo-Tonfa combo.

Now I believe the corp driver is the best, having been bested by it in a PVP. If only there can be an ignore defense counter attacking weapon.. Yum yum..!

seems like counter attack weapons outlevel quicker than others probably because they have less base damage. 2xbleed is TWO debuffs for mockingbird and black panther to take advantage of.

i would have said the crowbar by a mile yesterday. but i just got a taste of the corp driver in pvp. things pretty awesome. not 64gold awesome though.

is there any counter attack weapons that deal weakness? i'm thinking of getting a counter attack weapon that can deal weakness while having quickdraw 40 to exploit weakness and it counter attack as well.

crowbar cause for me it does the most damage( 1200+) , gives 3 deguffs ....sure saber claws are great but have very low damage...and not everyone can be bleeded........i play with bp and even with him i say go for crowbar
