Cute chapter, so far. I have no idea how much reputation it takes to open it, as I'd crammed my garden past 1,700,000 last week and it held me over for this one (thank goodness, it's a cluster to look at and I still haven't rebuilt it).

I've wanted to go to Scotland for so long. Now they've made it so maddeningly difficult to move/store items, along with all the other idiotic problems the new look delivered, it's gonna take me forever to get there. We are not amused. :(

I (honestly) hadn't even noticed. I always use the little icons you get when you open the inventory - they work just fine. However, it's got a little more difficult to focus my mouse - it gets distracted so easily!

Rep was 1,560,000 and up. I have almost everything in my inventory out with maybe 10 spaces left. And there were a lot of buildings I upgraded that I had 2 or more of. At this rate, I probably will not be able to continue playing without massive expansions of the garden. I had to get rid of almost all my roads. Took everything out that was less than 1000 in rep. This is nuts.

The fountain is not animated. The cow moves a little and is cute. The building is very nice. The premium scene item comes with a Scotsman roamer.

I like the artifacts with this chapter. I also like the pineapple house.

It is nuts! I have every building upgraded to the fifth level and still barely make it. I have a plethora of huts, but I don't want 38x38 of them (or pinata kids) just to progress. They really need to modify the amount of rep needed to continue. Otherwise the game turns into buying multiples to upgrade just to hit a number so you can actually play scenes. Maybe that's their way of telling us we need to move on to something else. Lol.

That's what I'm thinking. I was a GoT addict until a few weeks ago. Built up silver so I could buy expansions instead of playing the latest crystal chapter. I can't even open all of Chapter 40, let alone Chap 41! But I now play less, since I can't get the new scenes. I am weaning myself off the game - sadly, since I like to play, but it is too frustrating to open the new chapters without an expansion. And my pretty garden is long gone for multiples of pinata kids!

I've been a daily player for over a year, have finished every quest and upgraded every wonder to Level 5, plus lots of other buildings. And I don't have enough rep to play this chapter (only 1,600,000). And when I try to make changes in my garden, it's impossible to click on many of the items. My garden is at the maximum size, so there is really nothing I can do which won't take several days.

It was fun for a long time. But it's time to move on to other things. The frustration level is too high. It's supposed to be fun.

My garden is full, pretty much everything is upgraded, and I'm upgrading a couple other things and I can't open the last two scenes yet. I'll be able to open the 4th one but I have no idea how I will be able to open the 5th without an expansion. I have enough silver to buy 570 pinata kids but I shouldn't have to. It feels like we can't earn anything in this game. You can't progress without a really dumb rep requirement being fulfilled , we can only get 12 crystals from friends and they are pretty hard to get from playing, we used to be allowed to only use 10 energy +5 boosts, we are limited to 10 of each thing in inventory, etc. Why are they such control freaks? Shouldn't doing the quests be enough to progress? If they want to slow us down put in more quests but the rep is as much a "what the heck were they thinking" as Bjork's swan dress or the entire production of "John Carter". To be fair though, at least the dress and the game are/were entertaining.

It is an absolute NIGHTMARE pulling up my paths to gain the rep to open the chapter. This process normally takes an hour to spam my garden and then restore it to how it was after I've gotten the rep but now all sorts of things are getting picked up and then I have to search all over the inventory to find them (trees usually) or I might forget what I had there! However, I got to start off buying thistles!!!!! We have thistles in Nevada but there not as romantic as in Scotland

:( I'm basically in the same boat as many others when it comes to rep!! I'm at level 95 and could ONLY open 2 scenes in 41 after storing ALL paths, ALL low rep items, and replacing with ALL high rep (Level 5) items plus 600+ items jamming every square inch with these!! Adding..replacing..adding..replacing for 4 hours to no avail!! I have spent over $100+ on the game because I love it so much but it's getting crazy!! I wonder if Playdom WANTS us tried and true players??!! I also play B&B and Animal Kingdom so have only played Playdom games..I think they should give us die-hard players a break on Rep for staying for over a year.
I really was hoping for a Crystal chapter this time so I could build up my rep and not having to cram my garden so soon. I barely got 40 open!!
Sorry..I just had to vent..but I'm at a stand-still, too.

Talk about unfair We were just having a long chat in our group and were told that in Europe the ability to have your highest rep. saved then remove item is very common for the player there. does explain level 100 1/2 empty garden & playing new chapters with no rep. problem.

I wish the fountain was animated because it is very pretty, it just looks dead and isn't upgradable so rep isn't that great for a premium item. (3540 for 4 squares or 885 per square : ( )

I have to say the building is pretty. It upgrades to a decent amount (the upgrade thing isn't opening for me right now, lol. The buildings are usually worth buying because they are almost always pretty and have great rep like the 4 square Royal Fountain from the last chapter which upgrades to 10460 (2,615 per square).

I live in the UK and there is no way we can save or remove items to get high rep with half your garden empty. We have the same restrictions as you I have my garden crammed full and trying to open scene 5 on ch 40, and no way am I going to be able to open ch 41, even if I empty my garden and fill it with wonders buildings at level 5. Don't believe everything you read. I have about6 250 neighbours or so I believe but now they have removed the number under your name I am not sure, half of them are really sick and tied at the way PD/FB are treating us. I have been playing for about 18 months or there abouts, and am just about at the end of my tether deciding if I want to continue with this shambles of a game as it has become.

What I was referring to is a glitch I first learned about here in the forum and believed it is was rare my friend & neighbor would have no reason to lie about it she thought it was normal. I do agree the game is a shambles and is more work now than fun.

I'm one of the lucky ones who have the glitch (UK), and I thought it was normal until I came on these forums and read other people haven't got it.

I honestly don't think I would continue to play the game if I had to destroy my garden for every new chapter, I'm full of admirationf or those that do and don't understand why playdom don't make the glitch the norm. It would make the game so much more enjoyable for everyone.

I do a high rep garden when I need to, I'm currently at 1,746,060, make a screen capture of it to remind me what the rep is, refresh 3 times, and then I can build a garden that I like, that stays, with just a few tweaks until the next time I put the rep up. By then I'm ready for a change anyway.

I'm also have that rep glitch (US), and I also think Playdom should make it the norm. I only have to junk up my garden every 2-4 chapters, and then I can design it the way I want it.

Right at the moment, I have 1,935K in the garden, I'm waiting for this chapter's buildings to finish, then I'll spend the next week or so setting it up nicely. I expect this amount to last me through at least two more chapters, and with a crystal or premium chapter released in the middle, that'll probably mean a full month or so before I have to warehouse style my garden again. And maybe they'll release another garden expansion in the midst of that (though, since I used all my extra cash recently buying KhP's it'll probably be a while before I build up enough to buy one again).

I had a discussion with my crystal buddy today. The conclusion of the conversation was "isn't it weird that it is the crystal chapters that now seem the most enjoyable to play" - no rep requirement and having a buddy makes it easy to get the daily allotment of crystals. I have had a "Gardens of Time" walkway on two sides of my garden and I finally had to give in and pull a lot of it up and fill it up with pinata kids so I could open all of the chapters. I probably won't quit the game, but I have made the decision to just do the regular chapters at a much slower pace. One thing I have to do is keep track of which neighbors are still playing and get rid of the rest and maybe get some new ones. Then I might be able to move ahead quicker. All in all, the high rep thing has ruined the game.

Ditto! It's a nice fountain and I would have bought it if it was animated. I REALLY hope they bring back the Concorde fountain, as I missed that one.

Don't see any way to get the rep needed for the next chapter, 42, when it comes out. I love real world gardening, and do a lot of it. I swear, this GoT garden has become more work than my actual hands in the dirt garden work. That's crazy. And I'm beginning to think I'm crazy for sticking with it. Of course, that may be a none issue if I can't get the rep for the whatever new chapter comes out. Hate to say it, I would rather have crystal chapters now.

Yes! Give me crystal chapters any time over ripping up my garden to turn it into a junkyard ~ plus the toys for the garden are so much better than regular chapters ~ I'm talking about the ugly grey buildings! ;)

Everything is upgraded, but there's no way that level 43 will happen without an expansion. The only reason I have enough coins (I think) is that at the beginning we were getting a lot more silver for doing the blitzes and it really added up. I pretty much stopped doing them when they lowered it and when they started getting rid of the scenes. IIRC, didn't we have about 4 of them? Now, from what I have read here, we are still stuck in February with the Valentine things and with the energy one. Not exciting. It would be nice if they didn't get rid of older ones and just added new ones so that there's always a variety on a given day. Besides, I usually like the art here but the Valentine's Day scene was hideous. It could have used a lot less read and could have been brighter. It's an eyesore. Who wants to look at that up to 20 times a day?

I don't know if there is a thread for this but also they could do with changing the fifth day gift spin stuff ~ getting kinda bored with zen gardens cat tails etc ~ also I'm sure there used to be a gold bar on there which made it kinda more interesting ~ can you change this while you're changing the tired out blitz scenes ~ thanks ~
