I always seem to get this same response for every ticket I submit... I think instead of wasting time sending this Generic Response back to us, why don't they just take care of the issue the player is having? It would save a lot of time and cut down on all of the backlog.

Generic Clear your Cache Message:

"Dear Playdom Gamer,

Thank you for contacting Playdom Game Services. We sincerely apologize for the delay in responding to your issue and any frustration this situation may have caused. Our teams have pushed some fixes since you first submitted your ticket that should have corrected the issue you were reporting.

Please clear your computer's cache to load the new code onto your computer:

However, if you are experiencing this issue, please do not hesitate to reply to this email so we can get this corrected for you.

Again, we apologize for the delay in responding to your issue and thank you for playing.

Please clear your computer's cache to load the new code onto your computer:

Thing is that when changes are made to codes.... clearing the cache and doing a restart/refresh are mandatory to having the fixes show up.
I understand that the fix did not work for you but that is another problem.

I understand that... But not every problem is fixed by Clearing your Cache.

It is amazing how they "Pushed some Fixes since you First Submitted your Ticket" for every single problem.

It is a Generic Message they send to most people who submit tickets and it is a Waste of time.

Plus I clear my cache on a regular basis...

I see the importance of cleaning cache + cookies, but I do agree that for the vast majority of cases, it's not going to help. Clearing your cache won't bring back missing boarders or credit you with missing glam. I think it would be great if they could have a box in the ticket where you verify that you've already completed basic troubleshooting steps (clearing cache + cookies, trying a different browser, checking Flash, etc), and then your ticket could be sent on for a more individualized response. Because honestly, waiting three days to get a generic "just clear your cache" message is ridiculous.

Agreed. At this point I clear my cache 3-5 times a day. I SS it every time. Just in case I need to submit a ticket. Then I can have those to prove I've done that already. I have now also started SSing my Boarders and BPs each and every day, and when I get a new one, sometimes more that once/day. I hate that I have to SS to cover my tush for their mistakes, but I can't imagine being told things are fixed when they are clearly not.
