This would appear to be the 3 scene completion of the 12 scenes promised in this Mega Chapter so have fun we are nearly at the finishing tape of this marathon. LOL

1. Open mini chapter 5 Crystals
2. Travel to Versailles Garden Time loop (new play mode)
3. 3 stars in Versailles Garden reward: The Palace of Versailles (Looks to be 3 x 3)
4. Build the Palace of Versailles

5. Travel to The Creation of Adam (Standard play mode 12 hidden objects and great artwork with items to match)
6. Let there be Spite find 12 objects in The Creation of Adam.
7. Upgrade Palace of Versailles to level 3
8. 3 stars in The Creation of Adam Reward: Sainte-Chapelle.
9. Build Sainte-Chapelle.
10. Upgrade Sainte-Chapelle to level 3* (NB See note 1)
11. Earn 7 stars in the first two scenes.
12. Upgrade Palace of Versailles to level 5. (Thanks to balorenz for this.) N.B. Reward is opening up the final scene.

13. Travel to Notre Dame Find 12 hidden Objects ("A hunch back in time")
14. 3 Stars in Notre Dame Reward: Notre Dame itself. :)
15. Build Notre Dame (Confirmed 3 x 3)
16. Place collection item Beret Boutique (NB If already placed put in inventory then replace in the garden to complete the quest.)
17. Stained Glass Beauty: Upgrade Stainte-Chapelle to level 4 and Notre Dame to level 3
18. Night at the Art Museum Complete both The Creation of Adam & Notre Dame 5 times each in torchlight mode*.
Reward: *Versailles Hedges 2 x 2 Upgradable Decoration initial rep 1,410 & 5,410 Fully Upgraded. (Maze like)

19. Earn 12 Stars in the final three scenes to earn "A special Award". ( Versailles Fountain 1410 rep non upgradeable)
20. Upgrade Stainte-Chapelle to level 5 and Notre Dame to level 5. Reward: Crystal Hall 3 x 3 square total rep 15,230 fully upgraded with standard building materials.

Best guess is that earning and/or placing the Crystal Hall will finish the Chapter and turn off crystals but will have to wait for someone to find out for certain as it may also require some other final upgrades of any other unfinished buildings from earlier in the chapter if there are any that is. :)

This is now confirmed either completing the quests and earning the Crystal Hall and/or reaching the total allowance of crystals which is set at aproximately 120 over and above the average number required to complete all quests and upgrade all buildings so one potentially ends up with about 100-120 more crystals at the end than you started with for the average player.

Thanks to Fizzbin for 19 & 20 and myself for the detail on the Crystal Hall just placed and upgraded as crystals greyed out when I reached aprox 120 more crystal than I had started part I with right at the start. :)

No doubt other quests will follow including upgrading all the previous Paris Painter buildings to level 5 and perhaps other ones. Full details of the order and nature of these will be updated as and when this info is available - the later ones once someone dares to push the boundaries of potential crystal supplies I expect. LOL

Notes 1: NB I hit a glitch that needed me to upgrade twice on the 2-3 upgrade of the Sainte-Chapelle so lost the 10 crystals used first time but retained the bells so could have been worse I guess. Annoying none the less though. If the upgrade screen is a bit "off", don't risk it is the lesson learned, (the upgrade and pay to upgrade set at minus yes minus 1 gold bar were stuck together), as hitting upgrade anyway locked the screen and, as I say, on reboot the bells remained but the crystals disappeared. :(

I have all buildings pretty well fully upgraded now, but haven't finished the final star, and I still am able to request crystals (so far) I will confirm when I know for sure I am still receiving them and getting drops though as I hasve been stung by that before. LOL

And I promised myself not to be the fool to tread where angels do not dare to do. LMAO

A question for you: How in the world do you get so far in the game so fast in order to know all this? Was just wondering if you get advance access to it all or something. With all the game glitches the past few days, I am stuck on still trying to upgrade the Palace to Level 2. The messages / requests don't work hardly at all so it is quite a struggle. They may be forcing me to take a break as the frustration is starting to outweigh the fun. :-( Didn't mean to turn this into a complaint...sorry...Thank you again for all your quest sharing!

Hi Sheenadee.

Yes as an Inner Circle member some of us get a special preview day of these crystal chapters (actually 25 hours on this one). :)

I was also able to build up a reserve of crystals so at least that part of the problem was covered and all I really had to worry about was the special build materials but, of course, the extra playing day was well before the MC really crashed as it has over the weekend so I was able to get all I needed within an hour or so of sending requests (I have about 125 neighbours from all round the globe so that helps a lot as always sombody about to fill individual requests.

And that's the final piece of the puzzle which is that I have a very debilitating and painful disability that means i'm often playing on and off all day and all night as insomnia and/or pain disturbed sleep even if I dod manage to drop off means I am able to complete most chapters within a couple of days without too much problem. :)

As for the problem with the MC that finally did cacth up with me early this AM and so I am now stuck like everyone else but at least this time Playdon have had the sense to add a notice to the game banner saying:

We are undergoing some scheduled maintenance. Some gifts and materials may not appear during this time.

Hi! Thanks for that update. It's great you were able to get so much accomplished before the MC mess stopped you too. It's been plaguing me for a couple days already. Forever the optimist, I kept going back in and accepting and re-accepting / resending the same gifts in hopes that a few would make it through. I didn't track details; but, am pretty sure about 1% was successful. LOL So, I'm back to finding other things to occupy me while they work on the fix.

Wonder if anyone has finished this chapter yet and can answer this question. Is "20. Upgrade Stainte-Chapelle to level 5 and Notre Dame to level 5. Reward: Crystal Hall" the END? And will our crystal posts be greyed out after doing this? Seems unfinished as we never got a quest to upgrade the Paris Bike Transit, Monet's House, Palais Garnier, and Paris Carousil to level 5.

Time will tell I have now done the full upgrades to all the Paris Painter Buildings from all three parts including Sainte-Chapelle and Notre Dame up to level 5, but have held off completing the 12 stars and I still am able to request and get drops. :)

I guess we will have to wait for someone to trip over the finishing line and/or someone reaching the cap and so have no reason not to check out the final quests, if any, especially the upgarding of the previous items to level 5.

Let me first add my thank you for taking the time to do all of this for the rest of us. It is very appreciated. But...

This happened to me and a few other neighbors so I don't think they should call this a glitch. This is more of a bug. I reported a ticket on it several days ago and as usual, I am ignored. I am stuck on the necessary upgrades but I'm not going to worry on it. I like to be able to finish all of the chapters but the crystal ones are just too big of a problem. If we were not ignored, it would be better. But, closing a door on a paying customer (as I am) is not good business.

Thank you again for the hard work. And I can see clearly of how much work goes into making these guides. So, pat yourself on the back and say "good job" and that will be from me. :-)

Just taking my turn is all but nice to know it helps and that it is appreciated.

It's always a bit of team effort here but this time I thought I would give faithhope a break as they had done the guides for the first two sections of this mega chapter and I was lucky/fortunate to get a good head start before the bugs started to bite.

Actually I am able to pat myself on the back for real very easily indeed as I have a rare genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehler Danlos Syndrome that makes me very hypermobile so I can even shake my own hands behind my back and a lot of other party tricks like that. I wouldn't have mentioned it normally but this May just happens to be the worldwide EDS Awareness month so I tend to take every available oportunity to spread the word about us Zebras many of whom actually play GOT which is the main reason I started playing in the first place too, not least as the game happens to have a passion for zebras as well. :)

It has been reported to me that the CRYSTALS DO GREY OUT after upgrading Sainte-Chapelle and Notre Dame to level 5. BEWARE!

Crystals greyed out after 12 stars, Sainte_Chaplelle upgrade to 5 but Notre Dame only at level 3???? I have gotten total of 72 crystals during entire play. If I choose to finish my reserve will be whipped out and my attitude will sour quite a bit.

After the grey out, I discovered the scenes would not load so cleared caches and restarted and again can request crystals. Attitude improved.

But only if the other quests are also complete and/or the full quota of crystals for the chapter have been collected ngk.

I and others have all buildings from this chapter including theSainte-Chapelle and Notre Dame sitting at level 5 in fact I did so even before doing the torchlight scenes and I am still able to collect crystals as have not comepleted the 12 star quest which comes before the final ugrade of those two buildings which signals the end of further crystals quests appears.

Again not suggesting everyone go straight ahead and do te upgrades just pointing out that this dire warning is not quite as dire as it sounds is all. :)

I do believe I even referred to going where the more heavenly fear to tread as the only way to test the limits on this so yes a heads up is always good though. :)

What may be happening for some is that there have been a few issues with some of the quests from the earlier parts of the chapter (parts I & II) for a very few people which seem to have triggered the greying out but that this has been rectified by the clearing cache and reboot methods that helps get things reset on lots of glitches.

I somewhat agree with you Folino but I'm not a huge fan of most of the buildings. I do like the attached roamers though! I was also wondering what was up with just one hedge but the fountain is really pretty.

I have upgraded every building except Notre Dame which is level 4. I have also got every star in parts I, II & III. I am still receiving crystals because obviously the game thinks I need them to upgrade my Notre Dame to level 5 so ill just keep going & racking up crystals till I feel I have enough in reserve. Just wanted give everyone the heads up incase they were in the same boat. Levelling up all the buildings to level 5 would deffo grey out the crystal requests IMO. Cheers. :D

Yep that's cool Ant and nice to know there are two ways of holding of the turn off of crystals ie. leave at least one of the two buildings at the lower level or don't complete the 12th star and if you have done either of these already deffinately don't do the other till you have sufficient reserves because that will turn the tap off. :)

Think it is pretty random but with the Moustache on a stick being the "rare" item for most I think.

Best bet is add it to you wish list as one of your neighbours should have a spare beret and if not check out the swap meet thread (It's in the guides forum I think).

Yes Notre Dame is same basic graphic but with added trees and the colour of roof is slightly different.

The Crystal Hall is 3 x 3 and upgradable using standard materials with total rep of 15,230 still not sure if I like the look of it and havent got room for it right now so probably destined for inventory till the next expansion not least as I dont even have room for chapter 38 either. :(

As you may have guess I have also identified the cap for the complete crystal chapter which is I would guess set aproximately 120 crystals over and above enough for the average player to complete all quests and take all building to level 5 so, providing you collect all you are allowed before finishing the final quests and placing the Crsytal Hall, you should end up with roughly 120 more crystals more than you started the mega chapter with what now seems a lifetime ago. LOL

Hopefully your Palace will show up soon. Support is very slow to respond. I do not think that your game can be reset. There isn't an end date on the crystal chapters yet, so there is still hope you can finish.

Sorry to hear that Sophia- I heard that persistence is the key. Try adding notes to your submitted ticket and hopefully that'll keep it active. I just don't know that much about them.

What does the Versailles Hedges look like? Can anyone tell me? I can't figure out if I got it or not. Had to dump everything almost from my inventory to get the rep for chapter 39. I am running out of space.

I did upgrade all my buildings to level 5. I have not completed the earn 12 stars quest. So, have not collected for either of the last two quests yet. I assume that will happen immediately when I finish the last star.

I don't think they will be setting an ending point any time soon for the parisian crystal chapters, as they are still encouraging new people to play the crystal chapters. It is more likely that you will hit the maximum allowed for collecting crystals soon enough. Hopefully if they do set an end date, they will give us enough of a warning. They give us a warning when they are retiring items... and if they gave us a warning on an end date (if they even set one) some will be close and will use gold to finish. So I think it is a smart idea for them to warn us if they do set an end date. I'm still working on chapter 2... so I hope they give us a good long time.

end up with 100-120 more than average player started with? how about having trouble getting crystals... still need 48 to complete last 2 building requirements before getting the crystal building and will need a bazillion crystals to build and complete it... I haven't been posting in here every day, though when I do only end up with 4-6 crystals. I have been requesting from neighbors almost daily but still haven't had more than 24 at any given time. They are almost as hard to come by as the garnets on B&B and I gave up on those

end up with 100-120 more than average player started with? how about having trouble getting crystals... still need 48 to complete last 2 building requirements before getting the crystal building and will need a bazillion crystals to build and complete it... I haven't been posting in here every day, though when I do only end up with 4-6 crystals. I have been requesting from neighbors almost daily but still haven't had more than 24 at any given time. They are almost as hard to come by as the garnets on B&B and I gave up on those

The Crystal Building is upgraded with regular building materials, not crystals.

I did upgrade all my buildings to level 5. I have not completed the earn 12 stars quest. So, have not collected for either of the last two quests yet. I assume that will happen immediately when I finish the last star.

I think that is a safe assumption.

Does anyone know where I can see a photo of the Crystal Hall? am not sure if I want to spend my crystals on building it

I'm not sure where to ask this, so I apologize if this is the wrong area, but I have finished Parisian Painter Part 2 and my question is: how do I get Part 3? Do I have to wait until the end of the alotted time (19 days left) and then it shows up? I play on my iphone, not facebook.

We play on Facebook here - our games and difficulties are different from yours, and the Parisian Painter scenes were some time ago for most of us. Also, the Mobile forum is read by people who actually have mobile devices!

Having said that, I think you have to wait until it's issued .. good luck!
