Marvel Mutants Vs Avengers Game

Reserving this for a Game I am making. As soon as it is done I will post it here.

Rules:
1) Nobody with less than 25 posts can vote.
2) Only 1 vote every hour(give or take 5 minutes..if it is more than 5 minutes before the hour your vote will be dismissed)
3) A person cannot vote the same twice in a row. There must be at least one different vote between your last two votes.Both characters must change between each vote not just one of the characters.
4) Your votes will be based on any Comic or Cartoon or Movie featuring the characters(not games though).

Violations of the first three rules will cause the persons vote to be ignored and they will be unable to vote the following hour.


Round 1:
Round one is the plus one minus one round. Give one mutant/avenger an extra health point while taking away one point from another. In this round you cannot vote up a mutant and vote down another, same with avengers. This round is Mutant vs Avenger only.

Example:
+1 Iceman
-1 Hawkeye


Round 2:
Round two will start after ten from each side has died or fifteen from one side has died. This round you will give plus one minus two. Again in this round it is strictly Mutants vs Avengers.

Example:
+1 Iceman
-2 Hawkeye


Round 3:
Round three will start after each side has lost twenty players or one side has lost twenty-five. In this round you may vote up two players one point each while voting down another player two points or vote one player up two points while voting one down two points. You may also vote two players up one point each and two players down one point each or any combination of that setup. This round again is Strictly Mutants vs Avengers.

Sudden Death:
Sudden Death starts when both sides have lost twenty-five players or one side has lost twenty-eight players. In sudden death you can no longer heal anyone. Sudden death rules you vote down only. You can either vote one player down two points or two players down one point each. In sudden death it is everyone against everyone so you can vote down both a mutant and an avenger in the same turn or two mutants or two avengers.

Just a question how do you plan to deal with members that belong to both team? Such as Storm, Wolverine, Beast? Or since it is mutants vs avengers, there is the case of quicksilver and scarlet witch.

I'm still deciding on that right now. Probably some will go on the mutants side while ones that are longstanding avengers will probably go with the avengers. I will take advice in PM though before the game starts.

This comic is really good. I picked up #2 today. I'm loving it. I grabbed the C2E2 exclusive cover for issue #1 last weekend at the con. :D
I had a nerdgasim when capt america is all like "Take the beach" so frickin awesome.

That's all pretty good but I will say this. This game will not be strictly based off X-Men Vs Avengers. Myself, I grew up with Wolverine as one of the X-Men and I would like to keep him on the Mutant team. I might change that but that's what I am leaning towards right now.

That being said, what do you guys think of my rules and round progression for this game?

Good question, I think I will just say when they hit 0 they are dead and cannot be brought back to life. That will prevent people from taking advantage of my sleep schedule to bring someone back to life before I update the tally. I will try to update it at least 3 times a day though.

Sad to say but I think this thread is going to die. Simply put, Matoyoshi82's idea was a little ambitious. I tried calculating up the numbers, but the rules make it extremely hard. In addition to keeping track of what number goes up and what number goes down, you also have to note whether the votes are for mutants or avengers, how long ago the poster's last post was, whether his/her last post was identical to the current post (and therefore void), the post count of the poster (Mereel, for example, now has 29 posts, but at the time of his first post it was under 25, rendering his first posts void. Do they count? I don't know); all these make for an interesting game, yes, but also puts a lot of pressure on counters like myself. Not to mention the fact that without access to posts on the front page of the thread it'll be hard for anyone to get a quick overview of where everything is.

In short, if anyone wants to maintain the count, go ahead, but unless they're willing to put a lot of effort into it, I daresay this thread is dead.
